Do you know for 100% that is not a thing?
A player that leaves a club whilst still under contract gets paid up
If a player leaves a club whilst still under contract, the club he's leaving have the right to agree a transfer fee. If his club agree that the move is the best thing for both parties, then the contract can, effectively, be torn up. Or, his club can offer to pay him some of his remaining wages to facilitate the move, including loan moves.

I have read it again and I still standby my comments that we have been easy to play against this season.
If you can point me in he right direction of all managers that are saying we are difficult to play against then please lets have a look at them

It's not blinkered its plain fact 🙄😆
It's a fact that goals win games...that bit is undeniably true...but, it's your blinkered opinion where you never stop wittering about us having to bring a striker in, above any other position...yet our top scorer is in MF, and, had we kept hold of the young loanees, I feel our MF would have had our top 2 or 3 scorers? But, that's my opinion - not fact!

Your memory is shot. Earlier in the season we were playing some great possession based football. That is a fact. Ok, towards the end of our barren run things had got too slow and turgid but even during that run we’d played well in games, we played great in the cups away at Mansfield and Burton for example. As I said, your stats are just nonsense because there are also games where we had low possession numbers which we lost.
Crosbys hand was as much forced by the injuries to the squad along with players he had available rather than any desire to change the philosophy. Our recruitment will tell us what that philosophy will be going forward. Joe summed it up in an earlier post, it’s the way the “club” want to play rather than just Croz, he’s simply tasked with delivering that at first team level.
Too easily forgotten - the barren run didn't start until we'd had those disruptive injuries; and the possession-based football was good during most of the games following the horror show...W9 D2 L1 after the Barnsley game.

I have mentioned this quite a few times already but the way that we started to play was stumbled on at half-time against Barnsley because Crosby was no doubt on the verge being sacked & and he gave up his believes to save his backside in that 15 minute half time break.
Where's your proof of this, Brian?

Which other teams do it?
Brian - do your own research...but watch most of the Prem and Championship teams do it, including City!

I've done a piece on the Brazier rumours on the front page. It may be useful if anyone is catching up. The response from Vale suggests these reports are hugely wide of the mark...
Beat me to it, but thanks, Rob!

And you think Loft is a better option?
Do me a favour , Uche is a class act
I didn't say that - but I've seen enough about Ryan Loft to not dismiss him as quickly as you do!

Goals win football matches, so call me Mr picky but we need cover up front first .
So Mr Picky - remind me what position our leading goalscorer plays in?
It's your blinkered attitude about signing a striker...and ignoring the possibility of signing a player from a different position!

Reading are still paying to use their under soil heating! If they can’t pay the players but they can stick the under soil on, albeit for a limited period, that’s just dreadful financial management. I have little sympathy for a club that has way overreached itself relying on sugar daddies.
It's dreadful management not paying the players! But - as i said - it wasn't a case of Reading fans being moaners, but having reasonable worries about the future of their club!

...BTW what message does it send to the opposition and our supporters when at our kick off the ball is immediately passed back to the keeper without any other player touching it. Total negativity.
It doesn't send out any kind of message, when so many other teams do it, as well!

Im all for players coming thru the academy and earning professional contracts ,wud be good to see a few forwards coming thru the door as well cos we need cover , 🙄
Do you think every other position ought to be ignored until we have the forward in? No other deals...no promising youngster signed on pro terms,. or on loan...because we haven't yet brought in a striker?? Or didn't you realise we need cover in a cou0ple of areas?

...What do you think we are entitled to? League 2 football? Conference level stuff?......
Carol is John Towers, our squad is the City Rover and our fans are the customers who will leave in droves. The rest writes itself.
You are aware that we're currently mid-table in League 1?
And...here's an idea for you - with your obvious business knowledge and acumen, why don't you approach some of the world's top companies with your unique oversights, so they don't go down the path to oblivion?

Name a time when she has refused an offer for a player?
I go to games when I can
I am sure you have opinions on golf but you can’t break 80. 🤷I think Carol has the final say when we're wanting to bring in a player that might take us over budget? :But, for selling players, that will be AC and DF. Probably - I'm not in the know...unlike some!

Deeply embarrassing and deeply disheartening to see Uche is going. Whole season now in jeopardy. Even if we bring in another striker, we always needed another, not just a Uche trade in. Fed up of seeing the club let players under contract walk off mid season for the sake of a few grand.
We needed new faces, we have big injury issues as is. This window makes the Smurfwaite era and his “sweety jar” during the “honeymoon period” look like Father Christmas!
All this adulation for Carol, yet she has put in a mere £12 million over 5 years.
Daii Yoonge has put in over £200m into Reading in roughly the same time period, yet their fans are now throwing tantrums for being tight.
You are a misery guts! Just out of interest - how much have you put into the Vale over the past 5 years? And Reading fans are not throwing tantrums because Dai Young is tight - but because he is mismanaging their club which has been the main cause of their demise. There is a difference - but you need to take off those blinkers!

Some ridiculous posts today 🙈
The one where Carol cashes in whenever she can by someone who don’t go the games is unbelievable
And yet, totally believable, given the "reality" in which some of our fans live!

No it isn't...it's as much speculation as the size of the fee we may get...and DF has proved decent at getting fees in!
