A gourmet selection of some of your very insightful posts from just the last 3 weeks.

At least 6 of those could have come from your own keyboard. This is what I mean about hypocrisy - I got 2 suspensions...one for being abusive, the second because an admin has a personal problem with me. That's fine - but, as you and Yappy  have just proved...and I've known for a long time...that other people are as abusive, or more so, than me - but because I defend my club, instead of bitching about it all the time...and because there is a minority on here who are genuine gobshites, I'm just called names or labelled a happy clapper - which is no insult, by the way!

Think about your own posts before you call anyone else names, Doha - you've been getting away with it for a long time! UTV VTID KTF TTP

Why was the goal allowed, their player was nowhere near 10 yds away. It is not up to Smith to wait until he is 10 yds away. He unlawfully intercepted a free kick! Why did Vale.ayers not create with Ref?! Also why did Garrity get told to leave field when the foul on him resulted in a yellow card. Players don't have to leave!  Bit baffled and Ref appears to be getting away with bad mistakes, and Vale.players not picking up on it.

    Good points.

Will you ever give it a <ovf censored> rest, Christ. You're obsessed with anyone daring not to think everything is 100% perfect at all times.

You're on the same page as Yappy - you think your posts are all valid and insightful! I'm just pointing out the hypocrisy of some of our "fans" and the FACT that people make mistakes in all walks of life - maybe if we were all a but more thoughtful, this forum would be less toxic? Pull your neck in and stop being abusive!

    Does it though?

I can't begin to speak for that community. But does having a rainbow ball send out any real message?

    If anything it's almost patronising.

Ryan Atkin, England’s first openly gay professional official, added: “The Rainbow Ball is a powerful emblem of diversity, pride, hope and activism. It demonstrates that football recognises its status and impact on society and that it acts on all forms of discrimination, ensuring everyone can be part of the beautiful game.

“I feel very proud that my colleagues and I will be the first people to handle the ball, as we bring it across the white line ready for kick off.”

Think you may be a little bemused over this being patronising, Darren? Maybe, if you don't belong to a particular community you ought to get their thoughts first?

How do you know it's wrong? You know his wage structure? Please let us know how much he's on if you do.

Nice to see you're back anyway, club released your payment and latest set of posts along with the Moore announcement?

Whose view of Vale do you think persuaded Darren to sign?

Fundamentally it is all on Carol.

She didn't have to appoint him.

She didn't have to give him full control when working part-time.

She didn't have to go along with all the silly infrastructure stuff.

She didn't have to sack anyone with any degree of football experience and replace them with family and friends.

She didn't have to appoint Crosby without speaking to anyone else.

She didn't have to stick by Flitcroft as he continued to balls up windows.

She didn't have to choose to side with Flitcroft over the fans when they started to raise concerns.

She didn't have to belittle the fans who were worried.

She didn't have to keep employing a DoF responsible for 11 wins in 53.

Sorry, we can discuss the flaws of the DoF all night, but bucks stops with the decision-maker at the top. Carol has caused all this through conscious, bad decisions she's made which has been driven by a resentment of the average fan.

Even for you this is a pathetic post! Carol didn't need to do any of those things - that bit is true - but,  as the owner, she chose to...in exactly the same way as any business owner, anywhere! If those decisions turn out to be bad ones, then Carol will have to face the consequences of those actions, and determine her next strategy. If, however, the decisions that have been made as part of a transitional phase turn out to have been good, and well-intentioned, then she will reap the benefits and decide her next course of action.

As for the sentence highlighted in bold - what a  load of paranoid tosh!!!!

So you agree a private company, that exists merely for self profit, should be allowed to investigate fraud?

Nothing to do with jealousy. I just don't like corruption.

Having worked in fraud, in the public sector, I would have more faith in a private company that needs a good reputation to keep getting work.

Want more wealth? Work harder. Be innovative and think outside the box. Or be skilled at something. All of the above takes hard work. Apply yourself rather than being jealous of those that have.

    Well said!

I wouldn't trust any private company from the UK to undergo work for fraud.

No wonder the wealthier 1% own 230 times more wealth than the poorest 10%

Yeah - plus they may work 80 hours / week; take out second / third mortgages on their homes and sell off belongings to fund their initial business? Oh...and do without the holidays to Benidorm, and the vapes and the booze?

His long work in youth team football at big clubs including Man City is highly compatible with Port Vale. Port Vale will have to pay an attractive and competitive salary. Clearly with his background he could easily go back to coaching at the youth team level which will pay well and also compete for other manager jobs.

Although I have no adverse thoughts on Darren Moore, I think the fact he has managed at Championship level clubs makes him less compatible to Port Vale than Kennedy. The question of why come to Port Vale needs a convincing answer.

Could simply be ambition, Warren? He might want to prove that his success at Wednesday wasn't big club / big budget / decent squad already in place? Maybe he wants to replicate that at the Vale? One thing though - it should prove to the many idiot doubters on here that:

a: we are not skint (no - I have no ;proof of that -  but a 5.5 year contract for someone who gained promotion from our League, then managed in the Championship suggests he might expect a good salary?)

    b. not everyone in football dislikes David Flitcroft, nor sees him as the Anti-Christ at Port vale?

After so much drivel has been posted on here this last few days, i would expect to see some grovelling apologies aimed towards Carol and DF...but, I won't hold my breath!

    c.  They should...maybe...take a more balanced view of things than the knee-jerk reactions that always seem to be the first one; and wait to hear / read some facts before forming their opinions?

...I do think he will be our new manager as he has both of the key ingredients required, that being he'll be cheap and not having a lot of sway to override our Director of Failure

Oh dear! Two short sentences and you could not be more wrong, if you tried! hahaha

If we appoint another coach I absolutely guarantee Flitcroft Out will be ramped up  again and Vale will be in L2 next season.

Yeah...unless you  are a supernatural being with some kind of power you absolutely CANNOT guarantee anything!

    Crosby ain’t for me.

Pipe down. You don’t even know who I am.

I don't care who you are. You're not the only person to meet Carol...and to suggest that about a level-headed woman displays a shocking lack of respect. I do know who you are - you're a <ovf censored>...oh...sorry...that's what you are!

I haven't studied FFP rules closely enough. But the breach of rules consequences seem to be sporting. That is a deduction of points.

If a club gets in overall financial trouble  then the directors have a duty to address that. They need to bring income and expenditure back into line. If they cant do that they should stop trading or maybe sell the club to someone who will introduce new money. What they should not do is continue trading at a loss so they run out of money when creditors of all types cannot be paid. HMRC are often the ones to bring the final curtain down then if NI and Tax due haven't been paid over.

So...that never seems to be enforced?

I'm not sure what the levels are for EFL, but Prem teams are supposed to lose no more than £35million per year, over a 3 year accounting period...£105 million total. Everton seem to have fallen foul by losing the £35million...or more, in the 4th year, and so exceeded the £105 over 3 years ruling. I think there defence may be that they're being judged on 2 of the the same 3 years' accounts...twice? Whichever - it's not something I'd like to happen to the Vale!
