But, you're conveniently forgetting that DF assembled a squad that did get promotion at the first time of asking, and that gates increased with this achievement...as always happens! Certainly, away support s holding up seems to be holding up - whether that's because fans want to go and have a good moan at the team, or genuinely support them? But, there are more factors involved in falling attendances than just apathy or anger! As you allude to - much of your post is guesswork!

Why? Even in the truly bad times, we had a core of 4k or thereabouts. We will maybe lose some of the more recent supporters, and a few old school for whom this season has been enough. But, there is nothing at all - yet - to suggest we won't bounce back, after a good clear out like we did with Dazzler!
