Its toss.

Why have the Staffs knots outside the badge and then the topleft and bottom right the same unidentifiable object?

And why is there a Grim Reapers scythe?

Awfull

Its that bad it gives Stoke Citys crap bland boring childlike badge a run for its money

I'm afraid I have to agree 100%. The staffs knot is out of proportion and looks totally spare outside the badge itself. It should have been put into the badge itself, losing one of the 'objects'.

IF SOMEONE FROM THE CLUB IS READING THIS, PLEASE CHANGE IT - IT'S EMBARASSING!

Dead right, the staffs knot looks like an after thought stuck on top, Remove a Portland vase and put knot in it's place. First job for the new supporters club to bring up.

Let's be honest here, on the current badge, what exactly does the 'Blue' represent? (apart from the family stand seats!!)

I'm sure there were some against the change when we went to the the current badge, so people voicing an opinion about this change is hardly a surprise. It's a move forward and the current owners are putting their stamp on the club. I've got nowt wrong with that. It's their club now and they are doing all they can to get us where we want to be. Out of this ****, tinpot league!!!

Long may it continue.

Does anybody think we could be having the large V on the front of next season's shirt?? It's been mentioned a lot by fans over the years, and going back to history, this could be a welcome addition by the club! Let's hope a good kit supplier like PUMA and an interesting design

Wedgwood and the local industrial heritage.

Hmmm... I think the blue makes it look dated. This badge, whilst going back in time a bit, takes us forward at the same time. I have thought the current badge has looked tacky and out of place on the current shirts for some time now.

Onwards and upwards :)

I like it, i would like to of seen the Staffordshire Knot in the badge in place of One of the Two Portland Vases but that's all. I'm also so glad that we will have a team to support and a Shirt to put it on, well done to Wildes and the Smurf, both of them stars.

Sorry to go off topic slightly, but on the kit database site on here, the LDV winning shirt is on there twice; once with Brooker in it after his winning goal and again further down, statin that it was a "A sample kit design that was never used by the club." and a "prototype"... maybe Rob needs to review this :D

I think it has potential to confuse the brand, which is not a good idea from a marketing perpective. The other badge is very widely recognised and is displayed in many places. To rebrand the whole club would cost a significant amount of money so I hope we are not going to do that. Only about 20% of our fanbase voted in favour so it is hardly giving the fans what they want. Most important thing to concentrate on is promotion, get the details right if and when that happens. Won't encourage new supporters to come and watch because we have a nice badge.

I agree. It's outrageous that Smurf didn't offer the Volunteers Group a veto before going ahead with this.
