I am having a problem viewing the official port vale app on my iPhone it comes on then goes straight back to my home screen,anyone else having probs.

Yes mate im having the same problems.... it always seems to do it for a day or two, then go back to working normally. Poor app but not Vale's fault, so they can't sort it, it's the football leagues app so they need to fix it/get onto the developers' backs.

Exactly. The app is for all football league clubs and like the official websites is yet another poor design choice from Football League Interactive (the digital division of the FL). The FLI basically do mass deals for all the clubs in the Football League.

 

I've heard horror stories about the problems with the Vale website which is not their fault - the club are bound into a league-wide agreement and cannot go it alone without a substantial severance payment (which would make going it alone probably financially non-viable). It's a similar deal with the app, I suspect.
