Jesus wept. The man defended the disgrace that was V2001 despite them destroying the club, yet starts a thread over a typo. So sad! What did you think of your mates glenns use of the website towards the end?

 

Apart from anything I have said that the club shop was shocking when Glenn was still there, I have also agreed about spelling on the site before when Glenn was still there. Don’t let that stop you though.

 

All I am saying is that there should be something in place to check the spelling and also spot typos. I enjoy reading the articles but I only looked at two and noticed both of them. Like Rob has said the person writing it might not notice them. I would have thought that they would have someone looking over them before they "go live"

Not sure how it works now Mark but up to a couple of seasons ago I did this along with another volunteer. I had to stop due to ill health so perhaps the other volunteer isn't able to do this anymore also.

 

Quite a few of the articles were written by others and were checked...also the stats of course. As I say, no idea if this still happens and if there's not anyone doing it i'm sure that, if there isn't anyone, Joan and or Dave would be only too hear from anyone who could spare the time.
