JA you can't tell the world what you can and can't spend. That info has to be kept quiet otherwise agents start making silly demands.

 

The problem is that fans expect signings and moan when another club offers more than us. I noticed someone question how Northampton can offer more than us, the other week.

 

We have plenty of fans who don't seem to realise that the d1 days were when we punched well above our weight and the lack of investment in the club from those days, is probably still hurting us now.

Who is to say your telling the truth though? You could be making that up because you don't like him.

If course they do..they ask why we havn't got the budget and what the board is doing about it. You think that the board should spend money we haven't got to appease the fans?

What? So the fault lies pre and post V2001? Whose fault is all this? Bill Bell, SEO, B&G etc etc? V2001 had many years to reverse whatever damage was done before them..it didn't and made things worse.

After 22 pages on this thread, the only thing of certainty to come out.

No I think V2001 under estimated the amount of money that was needed to push the club on, they got caught up in thinking that increasing the budget would lead to promotion, when it actually led to the opposite.

 

There appointment of managers was rubbish up to Adams and when he was getting them success he left. Then last year the protests killed the chance again.
