If you read some of the posts you will see a lot of supporters feel taken for granted. The points you make are the tip of the iceberg.

There are larger problems at hand.

Not even Norman Smurfwaite had that effect  and at least there was a reasonable attempt at making something of League one. This season there is no effort nor any passion coming from players, management nor the Dof or owners.

The problems are deeper than you suggest.

Smurthwaite had the effect of threatening to put the  club into administration which would have been catastrophic and alienating virtually the whole, if not all, the fanbase.

The current problems facing the club are far more shallow than when Smurthwaite was the owner.

We need to stop saying stuff like 'maybe we need to step back to go forward'.

Relegation will be a very bad thing for us.

It's just life and reality of football Joe unfortunately and it may even accomplish what some fans are demanding of Carol.

If we go down we will struggle to come back up. It’s a tough league that will get tougher next season. Our side would struggle at that level so would need a clear out again. We have to stay up this season

There is no question I want the club to stay in Lge 1.

Fans can have opinions on the owners just as owners before them.

Said similar in my original post. Don't underestimate the effect inconsiderate words/phrases bordering on the malicious could have.

Under this current programme and refusal to prioritise accordingly by investing in the playing side and playing it cheap by bringing short term loan signings, the current destination will be administration.

No club can or will survive without the fans. Maybe the owners have not realised what they are sleepwalking into and how they are currently perceived by a majority.

The real power lies with the supporters not the select few in the RW suite
