The new look is excellent but the threads seem to get lost in it all

I'm going to move your thread to the 'comments' forum as Rob will no doubt look in there for reaction to the changes

 

He's upgraded now but still has lots of 'tweaks' to finish off which will obviously take some time. I'm with you also on this one Wezzza and it may well be something that Rob has to finish.

There's now a "What's New" button at the top of the forum homepage with all the latest posts. Does that answer the question as it's not that clear?

Edit ive seen you have posted mate.........It only gives the recent threads Rob and not like the old format where any posting came straight back onto the main page?

Do you mean the home page of the entire site (i.e. not the forum homepage). It's difficult to understand without precise explanation.

 

If you do mean the OVF front page - I have answered that one before. I know of it and the current set-up is a temporary fix. Now I have upgraded I hope to be able to restore the "latest posts" as we had it before (i.e. in terms of activity on a thread) and also a list of online users.

 

So, it is on a long list and being looked at over the next few days.

OK - that's on the list. I was aware of it and planning to do that. It wasn't worth doing it with the old forum as all the work would be lost once I upgraded. So, it's now a top priority now we have an upgraded forum.
