It always pays to do your homework before offering an alternative critical view.  You may wish to know where the players who just played for England in Pakistan and produced a historic result were born.

Let me help, none came from South Africa, none came from Jamaica, one, Ben Stokes, was born in New Zealand, but lived in England since before he was a teenager.  He grew up, and went to school, and learned his cricket in Cumbria.  The most popular birthplace of the England team was Yorkshire.

In respect of your comment "isn't that down to the manager", isn't what down to the manager?
