It's a sickening prospect for anyone who saw the Rudge-era Vale, when we regularly turned them over.

 

Playing them in friendlies is just about the most explicit acknowledgement that we are in their shadows again.

 

We'll play 'em again in a Cup game sooner or later. Much better with something riding on it.
