Who gives a **** how many people were there? Those last 10 minutes are some of my favourite as a Vale supporter, the atmosphere and unity amongst the fans there was superb. Never have I seen every Vale fan in the ground stand up to 'stand up if you love the Vale'.

I was a bit disappointed with the crowd when I first saw it however in hindsight its probably a good 700 up on where we would have been otherwise which isnt a bad effort

 

its gonna take a long time, probably years to tempt back the missing thousands on a regular basis

 

The atmosphere was really good as well for the last 15 minutes - its not very often I get home hoarse after a home game

The last ten / fifteen minutes I thought the atmosphere was very good. All three sides of the ground standing up and giving it a go.

 

Well done vale tonight.

 

Let's get a few more on the gate on Saturday then and create the same atmosphere.

A lot of people were saying lets show potential investors what sort of following we can have, and the turn out wasn't impressive at all. Yes the last ten minutes were great, passionate, but a lot of people have stayed away this season, I'm sure it wouldn't have hurt for them to lump £20 in on the day we go into admin, to prove the point mentioned above.

Only 300 higher than the average attendance turned up tonight. Hardly the 6-8,000 that some were predicting.

 

It might bring home to people that success is the only thing that will encourage people to Vale Park on a regular basis....the fact we will face a points deduction will see to any hope of large crowds this season.

I'd agree, there were a hell of a lot of ST holders and some pay on the gate fans who filled buckets around the ground.

 

What we really need now is all the SEO fans to return and ideally put the backdated money into the club they have held onto if they can.
