Could the police ask for payment up front for Crewe?

Given the unpaid bills seem to be stacking up left, right and centre, I wonder if the police will insist that the significant bill for tomorrow night's game is paid up front?

If the club are unable to pay this, which we all know is highly likely to be the case, I imagine the ground would lose its health and safety certificate and it will be match off.

It just seems a bit strange that the police will deploy a significant presence at Vale Park tomorrow night knowing the club's serious financial difficulties and that there must be a pretty strong chance the bill won't be paid.

I guess they could already be on our case for unpaid bills for Glenn and Lloyds' taxi service and reception cover at previous matches in which case the likelihood of asking for payment in advance for tomorrow would be even higher.
