Letter to the Police

Has the chap who wrote this letter had any feedback?

I would imagine the only feedback he will have is if the police intend to do nothing, other than that, I would hope the first we know is in the Sentinel or we see them turn up at VP.

They're hardly going to tell everyone they're launching an investigation, they'd just turn up and considering the concerns raised it's not going to just be your beat bobbie but a specialist team to investigate

Either way it takes time

The Police normally take 28 days to reply to a letter, standard precedure.

Port Vale are probably one of the local Police force's largest paying customers. The Police, unlike the Board, may not wish to alienate their customers. This could explain why they have been jumping through hoops every time the Board make a request i.e. - taxi's, attacking fans who send text's or dare to take a photo.

We will probably find that the only approach the Police make is a visit to advise the Directors that they have received a letter and then carry out an informal chat.

If that is their response to the contents of the letter then I suggest the IPCC may be getting a letter!

My point is that the police respond immediately to complaints from the board like Alex and the guys at Saturdays game, and we have hand delivered a letter to the police hq as stated by the previous poster and I am asking have we heard anything from our letter, surely that is not a difficult or complicated question to ask,so have we heard anything????????

They were present at the game on Saturday and the eggs were visibly present. Alex had been taking photos for a period of time.

All things come to those who wait, now pipe down! ;)
