Naked attraction Channel 4

This programme is relatively new to me, when someone told me about it and what it was a few months ago I thought they were joking - but there it is.

 

I don't quite know what to make of it, it isn't shocking or tacky, and I definitely wouldn't ban it, but maybe shows how much things have changed as even 15 years ago I can't imagine it would have been easy to show it.

 

It wouldn't surprise continentals who have nudist beaches and very respectable spas and saunas with mixed nudity, but it is so un-English for people to stand there bravely showing off everything and discussing their 'bits' in a matter-of-fact way as if it were a choice of wallpaper.

 

One thing the programme definitely isn't is sexy - well, not after you have seen it a couple of times. A little mystery and a few clothes and imagination can sometimes do more than completely revealing everything all at once.

 

To paraphrase the old joke, if it had been on in Mary Whitehouse's day she would have had a stroke - but Channel 4 don't encourage any physical contact.

We all have similar functioning bits. I dont see whats to be embarrassed about personally, never have.

Ive used toilets with women cleaners standing by the urinals, it didnt bother either of us.

Ive never had much of a problem with being naked.
