Has Lloyd Been Set Up?

Memphis

Recommended Posts

The more I think about it, the more I wonder if Mike Lloyd has been set up for a pratt fall.

We know the Mike does not see eye to eye with Bratt and Oliver, as was proven when he voted for the Newton investment.

We know that he was kept in the dark over the prosposed Ameriturf deal.

We know that he was the only one that has had the balls to face the fans.

My thought is that Mike Lloyd is pro-change, if not a little naive. I think that Bratt and Oliver have put him forward to see if he can do any better, knowing full well that their time is coming to an end. They can then say that it was Lloyd that was steering the ship when the inevitable happens.

Who elects the chaiman? If it is the board, it is thier joint decision. Or is it a game of pass the parcel?

How much did he make out of Walsall?

Not a lot i'd guess as i doubt he would have put up with all of the grief over the last few years whilst theres sun, sand and Spain...

Appeared on the share register 2007, largest shareholder(£50k) on current board.

So Mike Newton offers £400k, on the condtion that he becomes chairman, and he's told to do one.

Mike Lloyd is given the position with a £50k shareholding.

You couldn't make it up?!

We do not have to, as you know from following Port Vale antics in recent times.
