It's OVF Rewind Time

It's a bit of a Vale-free news time at the moment (though I suspect things will get more interesting on Friday as the match build-up begins).

 

So, to make things interesting on OVF, I've decided to make Tuesday and Wednesday "OVF Rewind Time" (unless of course a Vale story of note breaks).

 

What that means is - I will be re-posting some of my favourite features from the past - this includes features on the 1953-54 side, from Vale Vaults, the story of the trawler Port Vale and a few more.

 

This also means that I can schedule in these posts in advance and personally take a bit of a break from OVF feature writing every morning (it's almost 20 years of near-daily updates and it can be nice to relax and have the content be scheduled in) rather than typing frantically on my train commute to work...

 

So, I hope you sit back and enjoy a re-run of some of my personal favourite features popping up on the OVF front page in the next couple of days.

 

The first post is on the front page now - it has some smashing photos of the 1954 side and their families...
