My baseball team - the Blue Jays - are W23 L28 presently - puts me off flying out to watch them. But I think attendances at Vale Park can be recovered quickly by being competitive - look like could be in the top half / playoffs alongside 10 other teams - and most of all games at Vale Park are entertaining and we do our best. I think Mr S needs to do something about access - the late attender and the casual attender. Have one place where pay on the gate is possible and make the pay on the gate attractive to people to whom £23 is relatively a lot of money. It is easy for me to forget when that sort of spending was significant now I am in my 50's and through the indebted phase of life, but it is a serious consideration.
