Nowt up with the law smiffy it's how it's administered from area to area thats the trouble. I did go ott but i've a better idea, how about a set of stocks outside the shop so as supporters can pelt them with those concrete hardened crusty pies that the club pass off as food,,,;)

Nah, I'm not upset. Just continually astonished about the clamour for jailing someone for a verbal rather than physical act - an act that wouldn't even get to court in most cases.

 

Is it any wonder that people have given up on the law in the UK, when you see people let off scot-free for violent assaults and the like ?

 

I've got no time for racists or racism, but football and the law around football seems to operate in a totally different way to the rest of society.

 

Totally agree smithie.

 

I deplore racism but it wasn't the only disciplinary issue to surface that day.

 

The French lad had taken his shirt off & was going berserk for the last 10 mins of the game. He had to be restrained on 3 different occasions & stormed round like he was gonna smash someone. But that's ok I guess. Sticks & stones & all that.
