It's just an anagram of Ian, Clare and Tim, Johnny. If you google soundcloud tim and clare acoustic, there's Clare and me.

 

Nah I prefer to think it's some sort of French/Spanish/Esperanto mash up :)

mr. burslem , you're thinking about it too much. Too many choices. Most band names only take a minute to think about, like The Beatles, Rolling Stones, and even Buddy Holly and The Crickets. Yeah , they're older bands but the idea is the same. Nirvana is another. Keep it simple. :)

How's The Lone Star State?

 

The Lone Star state is cold at the moment, unusual for Houston, with temps below freezing at night for the last week or so.

Of course that will change when May comes, and by August it will be around 33 C . Tone is in a cold spot up there in Dallas,

where they can get some bad freezing rain/ice. Good luck with the band. Come over and tour sometime. Austin , Dallas , Houston. :)

Rain Climate is more topical, but sounds like a wishy washy friends of the earth type band.

Go with Rifleman Oatcake, on account of the fact there used to be a pub in my town The Rifleman*, that was a weekend live music venue and I saw plenty of worn out old punk bands there. U K Subs, Splodgenessabounds, Anti Nowhere League.......
