What on earth? So we can claim good characteristics, but not bad because we can't judge a god on human traits? Having his son nailed to a cross shows he is loving, but wanting homosexuals to be killed is something we can't comment against because he's a god. Using the Old Testament to prove he is loving opens up a hornets nest. Saying love is great between bouts of ethnic cleansing and genocide is like picking out a love letter from Fred to rose as evidence of his loving nature. But hey, he's a god so we can't judge those acts unless they are good, then we are allowed to. Because that's fact.

You have not got a clue what people actually believe

 

God Is love, the Bible the word of a deity says so and that's what people believe, that it's the word..the truth. They do not judge him!!! Of course he isn't really cos he doesn't exist but your argument against him being loving etc is pathetic and shows a lack of comprehension of the very fundamentals of what people actually believe

 

He does not want homosexuals killed , you've already been told and ackniowledged that on this thread..stop banging on about it as it does no m ore than reveal your prejudices. Ditto ethnic cleansing etc..you clearly just don't get it and above all don't want to

 

It's not human love so why are you judging him like you would a human? It is an incredibly simple concept. You can only even begin to judge him in the context of him being a deity who IS love..and you consiatantly refuse to or unable to comprehend the notion..not sure which

 

I asked you reviously had you ever studied any great works of literature as that is similar to how people come to actually understand the Bible..oddly you didn't answer other than dismissing such a method of study..you as usual dismiss something thagt you don't understand

 

Clueless and pointless cos you don't listen and are not prepared to, banging on about the same tired things even after people have explained them to you..too many prejudices to actually listen and think it through and open your mind to what people actually belive in and commengt on that trather than what you want to think they believe..eithyer that or you're not up to comprehendimng the concepts..I don't know

 

Continue with your ignorance and prejudice and closed mind if you wish or go and find out what people actually believe and try to understand the concepts behind those beliefs..I can't be bothered with you on this any more..you have added nothing from your very first posts on such matters
