I seem to remember that there is a poster on here who has a business doing computer repairs - does anyone know who it is please? My laptop appears to have a terminal illness andi could do with some help.

Thanks, I'll give him a go. I think the hard drive might be knackered but I need someone who knows what they're doing to check it for me.

if it's the hd it's a quick look on eBay for a new one (look for your laptop model) then just a case of taking old one out new one in and reinstalling everything starting with the dredded windows lol

not to difficult with a desktop but can be a fiddly job with a laptop .
