Asked to sponsor during 2005. Was proud to have done that.

 

Has spoken on a number of occasions with Bratt about investment opportunities. Sounded like those were Bratt led conversations.

 

Met with Bratt today. Can't pass a lot of comment on the meeting. Apparently Bratt upset at Mark sending letters.

 

What was clear from meeting was that Bratt doesn't fully understand the bid.

Mark believes it is a personal thing against Mo.

 

Bratt doesn't understand the project, is focused entirely on Mo's history.

 

Mo and Mark stance is that this is not about individuals but about the Vale and the fans and what is best for them.

Do you feel betrayed by the refusal to consider your investment?

 

Mark believes the investment wouldn't have broken company rules and it would have been no different to V2001 position at current in so much as they would hold a minority position but would control the club's affairs on day to day basis.

 

Mark has already put in £250k via various sponsorships.

Mark believes BB takes the brunt for what goes on with others behind the scenes.

 

Thought his involvement would be seen by BB as Mark acting as a custodian for the club.

He believes that it is deeper within the club and Bratt is just the spokesman.

Mark initially approached Mo when Mo came forward to discuss his intentions for the club.

 

Has been through the bid in some detail and believes it is exciting for the club.

 

Mark wants to get involved because he is a fan.

 

It's not a business decision for Mark, he believes in what Mo and his team would bring to the club, and it excites him as a fan.

Joint bid hasn't been withdrawn as such but the preference is to focus on the original bid due to the upcoming General Meeting.

 

Mark would still potentially look at investing should the sole bid go through.

 

Again reiterates that this is about the club and what it needs, not individuals.

Mark accepts that there are no guarantees in football and that it might not succeed should they go in.

 

Is however confident the investment levels being discussed are worth being given a go, and that if the 5 year plan isn't fully successful they would sit down, revisit and go again.
