Dino Maamria sacked by Burton.

I don’t think it’s low at all, baring in mind that for a lot of people payday is still to come. Similar to how there’s usually a spike in ST sales when that comes around. Some STH’s might be waiting for some seats to be freed up elsewhere if they are planning on coming with some who don’t come here often.
-
So far 5958 home tickets sold which is pretty good going with a fair amount of time to go.
-
Can’t be work permit issues as the kid has a British passport. All very strange as presumably he was a free agent so should have been straightforward signing him.

I think it’s right maybe to drop Tommy down a level on loan. Who knows why he didn’t get on the pitch at Rochdale? Maybe he’s just not as good as we hoped or simply their manager just didn’t like him for something else. Either way he really needs to be owning that level while he’s there and then maybe with a view to stepping back up to NL or L2 down the line. Only young and plenty of time to develop but it’s already difficult enough for him given the strength we have in midfield.
-
Right call I think, clearly not working there. Can look at sending him elsewhere in either the fifth or sixth tiers. Be interested why he never got a shot. Did the Dale manager just not rate him or something else?

Bernie just uploaded a video on YouTube about his time at Vale and a bit on the game.

I think the future looks bright for us regarding players who could be worth money to us in the future(the model the club wants to use) we have Plant who i strongly believe will become a big money sale(i would love to see him shine in his natural position),they have high hopes for Debrah who is getting better the more he plays, the American lad they hope will be a surprise along with our own Walters and Shorrock, even Garrity if he continues to play like he is.
The one that seems to have failed SO FAR to take any chance is McDermott imo but there is still time for him
On the subject of McDermott obviously the club will know better than me on it but I’m not sure what good if any this loan at Rochdale is doing. Doesn’t appear he even makes the matchday squad all the time less get time on the pitch. Maybe better to recall him and send him elsewhere?

I don't dislike Fury but I'm sorry scoring that fight to him tonight is borderline corruption. Ngannou won that no matter how many different ways it will be attempted to be spun in the coming days. Fury looked like you'd expect a fighter who has been inactive to look, I'd still back him to beat Usyk but that is banking on him being a different version than that one tonight.

Honestly if it means that I don’t ever have to click on the borderline unreadable SOT Live website again with all them ads then I’m all in favour of it. I’ve subscribed for the year anyway. Tenner to see how it goes is worth a look IMO.

My lad predicted his sacking yesterday. An embarrassing thrashing and they are in the relegation zone.
Yeah, the only reason they’re not second bottom is because Southend had the points deduction too so this is definitely long overdue. Having the likes of Norwood up top should be a cheat code for them.
If DC did take it just thinking out loud but that could open up the door to getting a little bit of money off them for Tom Conlon as he was one of his favourite players and am sure he’d love to play for him again too even at that level.

Oldham sacked David Unsworth. I know they’re National League now but this could tick a lot of boxes for DC if he wanted to return to football. Got an ambitious owner and a decent sized club and fanbase so the potential is there.

FGR forum seems to be expecting DC or the Cowleys to be next. Its a club on a dangerous downwards spiral so I cant see it somehow.
I can’t for the life of me see DC thinking about that one for long. People can say what they will on DC but he doesn’t suffer fools gladly. The mess they are in it wouldn’t shock me if they fall right through and back to the conference.

Hopefully had to pay up every single penny of his 5 year contract. 🙏.
Amazing how a club can just implode like they’ve done.
For L2 especially the obvious call for any job now would be DC but I would expect he’d avoid this one like the plague.

FGR just sacked Duncan Ferguson. Would have loved to be a fly on the wall once Vince plucked up the courage to tell him. There’s a club for whom winning promotion has turned out to be the worst thing to happen to them.
-
Leeds sacking another manager and bringing in Big Sam to try and dig them out of the hole they are in. Like clockwork round this time of year someone fires up the Big Sam signal. Someone will be dusting off Pulis before long.
-
Jody Morris gone from Swindon. We have seriously damaged them as a club and I love it.

Flynn sacked by Walsall. Be one hell of a plot twist if DC ended up back there not that I think it would happen.
-
Joyce to me if he takes the rematch needs to understand you can’t use your chin as almost a first line of defence as especially at heavyweight eventually it’ll cost you. I’m stunned one of the judges had Joyce leading at the time of the stoppage thankfully that was a moot point in the end.

Rumoured to be on £300k a week and was on a long term contract. Complete buffoon in charge at Chels.
Sounds plausible. On top of the £21.5m they paid in compensation for him what a disaster.
Just a very bizarre few months. They spent money like a drunken sailor all through the transfer window but not sure they’ve spent it on strengthening weaker areas of the squad or to any particular plan and then expected Potter to get a tune out of that.
-
Potter gone from Chelsea. Felt like he was swimming against the tide from the moment he took over. I always thought he was better off staying at Brighton and build up the CV more but at least he’ll get a nice payout.
-
Conte gone from Tottenham. Think that one has been coming since the start of the season. Another of those clubs who appoint managers who succeed elsewhere but never get the trophies with them, bit too much of a coincidence really. Thought that rant of his the other week was pretty much spot on to be fair but obviously that was the final nail.
-
Our old friend Ben Garner back in work at Colchester. No doubt he will be aiming for them to dominate those all important possession stats.

Our Nath now gone from Southampton. That lasted long. Nothing will ever take away the wonderful job he did down the road and thank him for his service on that.

Flitcroft Interview in Baggers' 'The Valiant'
in Port Vale present

Honestly in terms of Vale the tenner I’ve spent subscribing to The Valiant is the most value for money I’ve got on spending on this club for a long time.. Baggers coverage of Vale is unrivalled anywhere else. This model is the future in how clubs will be covered it just so happens we are ahead of the curve for once.
