  1. Plenty will moan about that but i have said all along i will give him the rebuild did very well at WBS,Donny and Sheff Wed and wasn't given time to build at Huddersfield,my guess is he has been promised funds and the bit i did like was the talk of changing the structure of the club, that to me said he wants to ditch all the DF <ovf censored> apart from maybe the youth set up but hopefully the recruitment process will be ditched and a proper scouting network set up
  2. Very very poor in fact shocking as this season has been I have seen it all before so as usual the lad and myself will be renewing, sadly i just cant help myself
  3. Obviously want their 2 cup finals next season 🙂
  4. IF he signs his contract it looks like we are setting up Walters to be starting in our Midfield next season
  5. Some really big decisions to be made now cazzer
  6. I might be alone here but i actually think that Sang would do a decent job in midfield in League 2
  7. Those teams whose players actually give a <ovf censored> are staying up so fair do's
  8. Be orate 🙂 but i dont think we can make the play offs now
  9. We need to find that striker who will turn into a Paul Mullin in League Two for us 🙂 easy isn't it. Matt Smith scored a lot of goals for Salford when he dropped down from Millwall to them, not saying go for him but if we do change the wage structure to get in a striker maybe one who will drop down could do the trick also?
  10. I would hope that we were one of the many League clubs scouting Conn-Clarke at Altrincham 22yr old attacking midfielder a possible replacement if Chislett or Garrity leave maybe. I also have a mate who has been watching a striker called Modou Faal currently on loan at Walsall also had loans at Fylde and Doncaster where he has scored goals on loan from WBA he says he is ideal for a striker at league 2 or even 1 level. On a side note he also tipped MK Dons forward Max Dean to be a great player(destined for a bigger club than us that's for sure)
  11. He was certainly decent at Coventry and as you say get him right, surely able to do a good job in League Two
  12. I cant believe for a minute that any Vale player is on 4k a week,if they were then we would of got a striker no mither
  13. Just out of interest has Cass been playing lately at Stockport?
  14. I have no inside knowledge what so ever but i still fully expect Carol will want to give it a go next season even if that means breaking the wage structure at the club like we need to do to attract decent strikers for starters
  15. As I say certain things he does gets to me,i aren't giving him everything,it just seems from the outside that his heart might not be here I want him to stay but does he want to? I guess we will find out in a couple of weeks What I will say is managers disappearing down the tunnel when a team loses isn't a new thing
  16. The one thing that i dont like about him is he always says Vale and not we,like Vale have to go there instead of WE have to go there, that is lacking a connection for me unless it's just something he does and did it at his other clubs...... very odd though
  17. I think we will be looking more at those who have done it in League 2 now We need to ditch as many as we possibly can though for starters
  18. IF we were actually in for Smith at Sheff Wed i cant see him dropping to League 2 now I wouldn't mind us trying to pinch the experienced Smith from Salford, getting on now but would continue to score in League 2 imo,not mobile really but always seems to be there and is about 7 foot 10 🙂
  19. I dont think it was quite the Huddersfield fanbase tbf and as i have said before, they aren't doing much better since he left...given time he improves squads,he wasn't given time at Huddersfield and hasn't had time here yet
  20. I aren't that sure Santa,i do think he will know a budget for both scenarios( I guess if he stays then it will be a decent League 2 budget or else why would he stay). I actually think Carol now knows what a balls up she has made and so despite what some think about what the budget will be,I think she wants to try and get us back up at the first attempt(hard that is though) whatever the cost.... only my opinion
  21. If Moore had got Ollie and Alfie and even the lad Thomas to some extent i dont think things would be as bad as they are now
  22. Moore certainly hasn't set the world alight at Vale that's for sure and i honestly thought he would do more BUT I am not in the Moore out camp yet considering what he has inherited.... some harp on about his time at Huddersfield but seem to just dismiss Sheff Wed/WBA and Doncaster those other clubs alone shows to me that he can manage teams well,as for Huddersfield they seem to still be struggling without him so they may have had the same issues as us just a <ovf censored> squad. I am sure that Moore will stay and try to build a team that suits him and to improve his current reputation again IF he is given the tools to do so. Either way whoever is in charge it needs a MAJOR rebuild this summer and Carol cannot afford any mistakes at all this time.
