    So, instead of Vale fans fighting with each other, booing players off when they are subbed and the fans chanting Crozbore out which the kid was upset & by the way his Mum is wrong for putting that video of him on social media,you would rather pick up on a joke comment about a lollipop?

    2 wins in 14, class.
    I think we're sleepwalking to a very slippery slope.
    Our league form is turning. I suppose the next few games are pivotal to see if that continues or not.
    No one disputes the run has been dismal. But it's small margins and if the form continues upwards then all is well.
    God forbid we lose Boxing day, then win on Friday or whatever. But hey, that's football.
    I will support our club no matter what, and will support the lads and whatever Gaffer it is. Wether they are doing well or not, until the gaffer leaves one way or another. Just like I've supported all the others thru thick and thin.
    We support Vale, because they are that Vale. Nothing more, nothing less, Vale.
    It's highly frustrating at times (most of the time) but we wouldn't have it any other way. Enjoy the ride and the endless lows and few highs we have occasionally

    And just been outplayed by a team that has forgot what it's like to win and was the only reason they didn't beat us today. Garbage up front. Rubbish at the back. If we get even close to the play-offs I'll have Crosby's name tattooed on my arse cheek. You can even pick which one.

    That said ... The magic roundabout of speculation must continue. 
    In all honesty, Hopefully at least be somewhere midtable.. with a few sore throats on Sunday mornings from having moments to cheer. Most of all though, some good comical banter with OVF's very own poundland pundit team. 
    it's like having an army of grumbling uncles. It wouldn't be Vale without you.

    Just to add something too which I didn't mention at the time. A perfect example of that lack of balance directly hitting the club in the pocket is the Stevenage replay at 2-0 that game should have been won. We should have gone high press, don't give them a moment on the ball, chase press. We should have been the most unpleasant side to play against in that last half hour but I don't think people would have complained if we won and the last half hour was scrappy. Instead we gave them space and time on the ball. Their first goal came from a long ball from their right back spot that could have easily been blocked. Now obviously directly that cost us £80k in prize money and for sake of argument and a bit of revenue from Round 4 lets say 100k. And a tie against a side 3 divisions below. Chances are we win that so with more prize money and gwat receipts I reckon we are perhaps looking at £250k. In round 5 we are talking potentially millions. When poor decision making is costing your employers that sort of wedge you're on dodgy ground
    I long and crave for a high, in your face press, to see out the games we are losing in the last half hour or so.
    We are no way solid enough at the back to just sit deep and defend.
    One thing about DC was he understood and would happily implement high press during games.
    Now we see Uche and Lofty running the length of the field to come back and make last ditch tackles while our defenders sit deeper and deeper and 'hold' there shape. It just doesn't work for us.

    Morning fellow members. 
    Just popped in to open the curtains and dust the place down ready for the bar to open at the club at lunchtime.
