    The fan who ran on the pitch has been handed an indefinite ban well the investigation is pending, Absolutely pathetic if he gets a life ban 
    Let's hope he doesn't as he's a life long supporter. Let's also hope the enquiry will delve deep enough as to why he is so peeved with being a Valiant atm and the enquiry will end positively with him being awarded substantial compensation for mental anguish and distress.Which he will then donate to Vale to go towards buying a forward and LWB by means of his apology to the club

    Carol is keeping her side of the mission and doing it well. Pitch, infrastructure, match day experience, pushing the buisness model throughout the club to be self sufficient, supporting the acadamy, working on the community aspect etc etc.
    However she had obviously put her trust in others for the football and on the pitch side of things with DF and AC. They are not performing to their side of the deal as they should be atm. They are kind of fumbling thru it but obviously not in the way intended
    How long does this be allowed to go on for, only Carol and Kevin will know. Get some results and it gets pushed away again, but have a bad February and who knows what will happen and it will involve some very tough decisions they will have to make imo.
    Saturday is a crucial game, we simply can't lose or draw to bottom of the table. We just can't. Let's have 30 attempts on goal, direct, in yer face Vale and smash them and not meek, 2 attempts on goal,desperately attempting to play for a draw, and inevitably losing by 1 goal Vale on Saturday.
    It has to be in yer face. Show an intent and stop bloody over thinking everything Vale.

    Was around the club about 11 o clock. Looked like someone had come out of the main building with what could be his agent and Dad. Mixed race lad. Didn't see close up.

    Summarising what I posted before. Played 6, won 0, lost 3, drawn 3.  Sacked. Banned for 4 games for conduct offences. Time in charge 29 days. 
    Mitigation!! Deeney says he was sacked before his ban was announced. 
    Deeney scored 4 goals in 16 games. That includes a hat-trick v Notts County!
    He got done for calling an official a weasel as well pretty tame tbf

    Anyway made up for young Bailey signing and the positive words from his family. Obviously very grounded young man with great support around him realising he has to take it slow and be settled in a positive environment to bring him on for the future

    Get your facts right Nipster.
    I never said I was his number one fan. My point is why does Uche get loads of support when he's been bloody useless apart from 1 or 2 games over Christmas & New Year. Then we have got a player who is in exactly the same boat like Uche but does not get any support or any run of games especially now that AC stumbled across a different way of playing.
    Its crazy beyond belief which shows what this thread been all about since Thursday.
     
     
    Also the stats posted between Uche and Lofty are minimal with Uche being marginally the best performer. This is with him coming into form while Ryan is obviously way off form.
    He needs time and confidence imo.
    Booing him is appalling.

    Barrow have better players than us.
    Barrow have a better manager than us.
    11 on 11 tomorrow, Barrow would beat us.
    We should be in for the likes of Cole Stockton.
    Our “philosophy” is well and good and will probably make money. 
    The academy products. Sold. And others will go. Money.
    Crosby. His style of play. Never ever ever will change. Tweeked but will always stay a constant. Like it or lump it.
    Flitcroft. Earns money for Carol? He stays.
    All I needed in my life today to know where the club is going is that Alfie Devine interview.
    Its football manipulation.
    Every question is thought out.
    Every question will have been fed to Alfie.
    Every question is now out there in social media to say to the suits at clubs higher than us that we are a good club.
    You may as well have held Alfie down and said say what we want you to say.
    I absolutely loved Alfie being here but if that’s the way football is going then it’s not for me.
    Its so robotic it’s untrue.
    I ask the older generation in here…. Is football fun anymore? Is there real passion? I don’t see it. I honestly don’t see it. All I see is a business. I see Port Vale Football Club as a business. A business where Carol Shanahan wants to make money. Nothing wrong with that. But she doesn’t care. She doesn’t. She cares about money. And she, like any other football club owner will put on a front saying that they care, virtue signaling her silly little scarf, when in reality they don’t! They care about making money. 
     
    And don’t get me wrong, I’d rather have her in charge of the club than Smurthwaite, as one wants to make money whereas the other just wanted to steal money but wouldn’t it be lovely to take the politics out of everything.
    I don’t want my club to be “robotic”. That’s what we are and that’s what fans can’t see. A robotic club making money for the owners. I want my club to sign the best players and go and challenge up the leagues. 
    A lot of this season has been . Let’s not dress that up. But on the field, when Stockport and Wrexham come up next season, maybe Notts County, that’s more clubs surpassing us on the pitch.
    Because when Carlisle, Fleetwood, Reading go down, that’s a lot harder to get points off than the latter mentioned.
     
    The virtue signaling in this club might be ok for a long term plan but the hardcore supporter will just leave whilst the on the pitch continues. Apart from cracks papered over this last month.
     January 18th. Still no striker. Lost our two best players which weren’t ours in the first place. It’s all a bit of a philosophical mess!
     
    Carol and Kevin are stabilising the club they are also paying out of their own pocket to top up what's needed for us to be in league 1 as our finances are upper league 2 level, not league 1 level. They haven't made a penny from Vale and put their own money in to keep us going. I've heard about 12 mill so far.
    Sorry if having a stable,modern, well run progressive club isn't good enough for you.
