It's a joke of a signing.
Very Norman I thought
Reminds me of when we signed Danny Elliot.

Can't wait to be put out of our misery.
Either way up or down I can't wait for this lingering torture to be over.
Not in a month of Sundays did I expect a result tonight. But again it's the manner and the performance.
Somehow we've won 2 in 19. Got 1 point from the last 9 without scoring a goal and yet are only in the bottom 4 on goal difference.
How we are still in it is beyond me but it's no longer in our hands with Cheltenham having an extra game.
Roll on full time after Cambridge and then the inquest can begin .

Darren Ferguson turned out the excellent Peterborough side we saw tonight - best side I've seen all season, including Middlesbrough.
Helps when Vale are scared to death of them too.

No, we tried to get 1 point tonight, a very sensible approach.
And we were two seconds away from going in 0-0 at half-time.Do you think had we done that we'd of held out in the 2nd half ?

Uncle Arsehole
His parents used to be with him but they leave him to it. The lad must be in his 40s now..
His dad has passed away and I think his mum too frail to go these days.
His vitriol and abuse has increased ten fold now he's solo.

If it’s Martin when I used to have an ST in the RS. He’d sit with his elderly mother and father. His mother was for ever grabbing his arm trying to get him to sit down. Her efforts would last about fifteen seconds then he’d be off again with his extremely colourful language.
I asked a couple of months ago about a youth called ‘Normal’ who went in the 80’s. Does anyone know his identity.?
I remember Normal.
Who was anything but !!
Think he went on the official buses ran by Dave Tellwright.

I don't think anyone genuinely believed that we'd get anything from the game tonight, other than a heavy defeat!
3 0- it could have been better, it could have been worse. I still think we'll go down but Cheltenham, Burton, Cambridge and Shrewsbury are all as bad as us, so we've still got a chance!
Shrews and Cambridge need one win for us to be highly unlikely to catch them.
Be 2 from us ,Burton and Cheltenham.

Don't get the Moore bit about losing Sang so Plant was out of position.
Sang is out of position too surely. He's no wingback.

Who is the fella with white hair in the vale away crowd always shouting abuse?
Sounds like Martin.
Fruit loop. Amazed he's never been nicked. I swear with the best but he's vile.

So did Carlisle. I’m not expecting us to turn up and get something from tonight. But our record against the better sides is down right embarrassing
Majority of those games v the top teams we seem to be beaten as soon as we set foot on the pitch.
Ipswich at home and away was a great effort last season. Derby away the gods shone. Everything aligned. Red card. Pens.
Other than those our performances against the top teams are pathetic.

Spinning singing a defender on a short term deal who's never played in the EFL and hasn't played at all since October when he managed 9 minutes in the American second division, especially when we're about to be relegated to league 2, as "Carol has once again shown her financial commitment with an promising new signing as the club begin to build for next season." Behave.
Bang on.

The Peterborough owner and chairman, Darragh MacAnthony, has had >>18 years<< to develop their club, and has done an excellent job.
Their scouting set-up is brilliant (and I hope the model for the setup that I'm sure Vale are trying to build) and has earned them a lot of money in the transfer market, as well as filling their team with the quality they showed tonight.Darragh MacAnthony has also poured in £millions of his own money into the club.
Peterborough are paying out nearly £5 million a year in wages despite only averaging around 9,000 gates.
And still Peterborough have spent about half of the last 18 years in League 1, having repeatedly yoyoed back down from the Championship.
To state the obvious, it's extremely difficult to run a successful football club.Carol has already achieved some excellent progress with the Vale, notably with the new and excellent management team she has put in place at significant cost.
And Carol has once again shown her financial commitment with an promising new signing as the club begin to build for next season.
Although it's hard to do, especially after a painful night like tonight, the Vale fans need to be patient and positive - the club is going in the right direction however the rest of this season pans out.
And anyway we still have every chance to start next season in League 1.
Come on Vale.Who's the promising signing ?
You don't mean the left back who has played 100 games in a decade ?

Not really bothered if we lose to the big teams. If we win or draw it's nice but have to perform against the teams at mid table and down at the bottom
Can't afford to say that.
We have 4 games left. Yes 4.
If we write Bolton off as we did tonight it's an utter disgrace on the travelling away support.

Looks like the Peterborough defence will each get their £500 bonus for keeping a clean sheet. Easy money, two of them could have worked from home.
Ain't scored against them in last 4 games. Won at a canter.

Just glad these are knackered and hungover from Sunday.

So far in 11 games against the top 6 we have achieved 9 nils.

Have been fearing for some time that our GD was going to be an albatross around our necks!
In reality never recovered from Barnsley.
Even when we were 5-1-1 we were minus 3 goal difference.

I actually feel for him. It’s easy to slag him off and give him abuse. I highly doubt he wants to play crap and cost the team like he has tonight.
Also gave the ball away for the killer first goal at Cobblers.

Smith and Ripley were having a ding dong with each other a few minutes ago.
Now a penalty for Posh. Come on Ripley = one of your penalty saves would be good.
Hasn't saved one since September at Cambridge.
Saved his first two and since let umpteen in.

I wouldn’t go so far to say that he burst on to the scene.
For me none of the kids have been consistent enough or arguably good enough to keep starting regularly. That’s purely because of their age and inexperience. It’s more a dig at our overall recruitment as to why that’s happened.
He did. Wasn't he in the last 4 games last season and scored twice ? Made full debut at Ipswich.
Might be wrong.

Can't believe they are giving Plant any training on defending because he is absolutely useless at it. Mind you they've done their homework playing 2 wingers. Can we declare at half time.
Plant for me , WAS an attacking player with an eye for goal when he burst onto the first team picture.
Crosby in his wisdom played him as a wing back. Moore followed suit.
Again purely recruitment issue as we have no decent wing backs.

They were out on their feet. Tired, drink weary.
Thankfully for us. Otherwise it might of been a Barnsley job.
