A good manager. In fact anyone with any ounce of sense wouldn’t send the players out 2nd half 10 yards deeper with no pressure on the ball. And to then make one of the worst substitutions possible. He’s useless. His record suggests he is one of the worst managers we have had. Get rid. Negative turgid rubbish when we play someone in the top half and negative rubbish when we actually get a lead.

I wasn't there but surely we go for 3-0.

Anytime I've been there you can see what happens when we sit off deeper and deeper.

    Why can't Moore ?

Absolutely horrifying to think what relegation will do to the club's revenues and budgets and to realise seriously, what deep trouble we are in to even try and get back to L1 status. I honestly can't see it happening.

The teams coming up from the Conference will likely be in better shape than us.

Lost probably 5000 away fans today with Stockport and Wrexham coming up. Wednesday look like going down now too.

Harrogate Accrington Salford Crawley etc. Oh dear oh dear. We'll lose over a million quid with relegation.

  3. Bottle jobs the lot. Said a while ago I can accept relegation. God knows I've seen enough.

But a complete disconnect with this sorry bunch. Hence I can't even be bothered go as a season ticket holder who lives in Porthill. Sat at home not in the least bit surprised.

    Absolutely appalling.

In the modern game, with foreign players allowed, the Premier League is the strongest in the world or right up there with La Liga et al. But also the strongest going back in time for the same reason - large numbers of foreign players. And good for that of course.

So I think keeping players who could play higher is confined to the difference between L2 and L1 and the difference between L1 and the Championship. I think we only have one player good enough to play at Championship level and thats Ripley. But clearly he should have got there by now and therefore maybe I'm just wrong about that.

Ripley is our best keeper for a while ( low bar ). For me he's too emotional. The amount of times he argues with Smith is puddled.

He's not Championship level or someone would have taken him from Morecambe.

I think another phenomenon at clubs like Port Vale is that some players stick around who could play at higher level. There can be different reasons for that, albeit I'm saying only a few players have been like that. My take on Shuker was that he was a fraction of the player I remember at Tranmere. Right at the very end of his career.

Players stick around at Vale who can play at a higher level ?

Have I read that correctly Warren.

    Care to name one ?

    319 staff seem a lot?

Lots and lots of fancy dan job titles with jobs for the boys. Amount of ex Police on the books who are already drawing huge pensions is ridiculous.

Of course we were woefully under staffed previously but are now inundated with these posts that exist in our current world.

Diversity and inclusion officer. They'll have an assistant undoubtedly etc etc etc .

IFollow is much better this season. The only occasional problem is loss of the Radio Stoke commentary.  I don't remember any problems with the video this season.

I'd see that as a bonus not as a problem 😉

  8. I know it's not a great example.

Luton were expected to be the laughing stock of the Premier league.

They've taken the lead at Anfield, lost 4-3 to Arsenal. Led against Man City. Etc etc. Really given it a go and given their fans some joy.

I just don't like this passive approach when we play the so called bigger fish. Some of the performances against the top six sides have been disgraceful. 9 nils in 11 tells the tale. Far too much respect paid.

And I understand we didn't need a 5 goal hammering but those hardy souls who took time off work and spent their hard earned cash deserved better than

    A) The team selection

    B) The bowing down to Peterborough
