Wycombe Saturday is probably one they will target as well(not much to play for). I know a number of Shrews fans who still think they are in trouble or at least squeeky bum. Fail to win Saturday and they could be right with Bolton and Charlton away to follow there's the potential they could be dragged right into the fertiliser.
Charlton looked in huge trouble. Talk about new manager bounce. The loon has them 11 unbeaten.

Yeah the big issue for us is Cheltenham have Carlisle H, Bristol Rovers H, Burton A next three before three tough final fixures so it is possible they win all 3, they'd probably be bookies favourites to win each fixture, if that does happen then it would leave us needing 8 points, or likely win the three home games assuming we lose the two away due to goal difference and that is if they lost all 3 of their last games.
I think our fate lies largely with how Cheltenham do their next three games unfortunately. If they get 4-5 points max then we have a chance, otherwise winning all 3 home games and hoping we can overhaul Cambridge, Reading or Shrewsbury might come into it but thats a huge ask considering we've won 1 home game in months.
I have had a horrible feeling for a while that those two points thrown away V Fleetwood would come back to haunt us.
Cheltenham 8/13 tonight. They are 19/20 to beat Bristol. That will change after tonight I'm sure.
Vale are 11/2 tomorrow and 5/6 to beat Exeter.

I don't want see a sit back cowardly performance as it costing me just under 95.60 just get there.
It's a one off I don't go many so I'm really buzzing let's hope when I get on that 22-00 return Train I'm getting on with a positive scoreline to Vale
SVA cannot wait get behind them .
Went last season on train but on a Saturday.
You're going have to go some to make the 22.00. You'll have to come out early.

Will always be judged by the end result but I’d actually go the other way and set up to just shut the game down and frustrate them. Will require a lot of discipline to do it and you never know at some point we might have an opening. Part of the thinking does need to be protect GD even if we lose as unpopular as it might be.
Crosby did that to some extent at Charlton away last season until the Barnsley miracle recovery at MK Dons. That was at 3-1 down. He had no faith in our ability to come back so went all negative.
I was there and was appalled at such tactics.

this game is a really tough one against a team pushing for promotion on top of tge EFL cup win and whilst defensively we have improved I would happily settle for a draw but tonight’s matches might not work in our favour and I believe we need two or three wins to stay in the division and i believe we can do it but our goal difference doesn’t help
Feel we need a performance like at Ipswich last season. A 1 goal defeat keeps us above Burton on goals scored. We sure don't need a tanking as that could be unrecoverable.

Hello all!
Just a bit of help please.
My son is a big Vale fan, and Peterborough away will be his first live game.
He’s been learning as many chants as he can, but he finds the “Shoes off if you hate the Stoke” chant is his favourite.
Can the fans who are going to the game start that chant through the game to really give him an everlasting memory of the Vale.
Thank you! 👟
🤍🖤
I've genuinely never heard that chant .

Does the fact that if Peterborough win their 2 games in hand it takes them to within 2 points of automatic promotion, not pour cold water on those thinking that they might take it easy 🤔 ?.

I will be more than happy if we get to the Cambridge game needing a win to keep us up. My missus and sons all Man U fans say they will come to the game if that is the case. We are where we are due to all that has happened this season up to the last couple of weeks. To still be in with a chance of stopping up is nothing short of miraculous and we can only hope and pray that we do not lapse back into our bad old ways.
We're not dead yet, come on Vale............
Do you live in Cornwall then mate ? Fair trek to Vale Park.

Just watching a David Seaman interview at Wembley. He played for Peterborough at the start of his career. But the interesting point he made - not checked - is that Peterborough have the youngest team in the entire EFL.
What hope can I take from that? Maybe inconsistency and lack of experience at the business end of the season.
Or they'll run the legs off us with their youthful exuberance 🤣

Exeter, Peterborough Bolton and Wycombe... Couldn't be easier before the showdown with Cambridge! 🫣
However garbage Cheltenham are playing I'd be rubbing my hands at their fixtures.

Since 1st January we played 14 games with Flitcroft in the building, got four points and kept one clean sheet. Since he left we have play four games, got seven points and kept three clean sheets. Is this a coincidence?
Coincidence. Flitcroft wasn't making 6 yard passes to the opposition whilst our keeper was 30 yards out of his goal. And also I don't believe Darren Moore is anyone's puppet.
So yes pure Coincidence.

I realistically think we'll be in the bottom 4 at the start of play next Saturday afternoon.
Cheltenham to beat Carlisle on Tuesday.
Possibly, we can get a point at Boro???
It's ok Exeter on the beach apparently despite winning last 2 and 6 unbeaten

Yes he did notch a few but also missed some howlers. Think despite scoring at Fleetwood he missed two open goals as well.
Was written that he'd score for Cheltenham against us
