  1. But they have open spaces on the list. Why not just select him then, he's getting paid either way? This way he's frozen out and isolated, it's a bit weird.
  2. Couple of decent results tonight. Fleetwood - Reading drawing Cambridge losing Charlton and Shrewsbury drawing
  3. Fleetwood Reading currently drawing is probably the best outcome for us. Especially if Reading get another deduction before the end of April.
  4. This photo was taken at 17:59 at the latest. Carlisle fans have had the piss taken out of them big time.
  5. Away fans travelling from Carlisle. They didn't decide to have a pitch inspection until 1815.
  6. Are you sure? Because he isn't registered as a player for them. Bizarrely, they chose not to register him but keep spaces open on the registration list - even after the window. He's still getting paid obviously, for doing nothing. Really weird and the explanation from the manager didn't really make sense.
  7. Do we really need another yet rearranged game shoved into an already hectic schedule? Might be better just to get it out of the way.
  8. bullsh1t. 3 horrendous windows. Loft. Crosby appointed without interviewing externally. Dire, dire football, playing wingbacks when we don't actually have any. 3 wins in 5 months and we're in the relegation zone and our forward line every second half is an actual child who did his GCSEs last summer, but it's alright because DF is building an office overlooking the training pitches. FFS does anyone at the club actually have a grip of reality? We never NEEDED to appoint Crosby. It isn't a gameshow.
  9. How do I become a true fan? Do we get to wear special armbands to identify ourselves as being considerably better than yeow?
  10. Ridiculous. It's also at odds with what you posted on Saturday. Make your mind up, or are only you allowed to show dissent? That doesn't answer the question of why you'd post "So you would both prefer someone who lays the law down to fans support groups saying I am the owner and you can <ovf censored> off?" in reply to quoting Carol saying she wants to be seen as a custodian rather than the owner. It doesn't really make any sense.
  11. What has that strawman wibble got to do with quoting Carol saying she wants to be seen as a custodian rather than an owner?
  12. Why? Where's that come from? I've only quoted her own words. Who's fault is that? How long have warning bells been ringing? As would I. I put far too much work into B&G last time around for it not to work out. Who's talking about her going? People don't want that, they want Flitcroft gone, for evidence based reasons. Going 0-60 appealing to emotion about what happens if she sells up isn't particularly relevent or helpful to the facts at hand, which are the last three transfer windows have been disasterous, the club's priorities appear to be very confused indeed and the captains message from the bridge of the floundering ship is hardly reassuring ("I'm not entertaining the idea of relegation at all" one week, "Our collective priority now is... maintaining our League One status" the next.)
  13. "BEING the “custodian of a community asset” rather than owner is how Carol Shanahan, below, prefers to be known at Port Vale." The Sentinel, 16th October 2023.
  14. I can't believe I've actually just read an excuse for the special treatment for the special few is in case Robbie got shot by a Mark Chapman walt. Amazing. At least it wasn't holding back away tickets this time.
  15. Was it raised by DC? I'm pretty certain it's a Flitcroftism.
  16. Probably not worth crowing about "The money that he has generated for this Football Club has paid for his wages to date many times over." then. Weird how literally every other club in the league manages it, just not us. Fleetwood, now our relegation rivals, signed two strikers this month. Their manager was sacked on Dec 30th and their owner and bankroller went to prison last Summer. Which club is the circus again? https://www.itv.com/news/granada/2023-07-04/13-years-in-prison-for-owner-of-fleetwood-town-fc-for-fraud-and-money-laundering
  17. Do you not see the juxtaposition there?
  18. Every club's fans try and console themselves with this when they're in a relegation battle. You see it on forums and twitter every season. Go down, clear out, start again. Positive positive positive. It's usually drivel, and most clubs usually get stuck in the wilderness for a few years. Make no mistake, relegation would be a disaster. Including financially. No more 5 figure gates, hello Salford and Barrow on a tuesday night.
