Protest & police

Come on guys. Last chance to make an impression. Lets get as many fans marching as possible. I think most fans had no problem marching behind the coffin, but for those who did its the right idea to leave it at the main entrance. We'll still get some stick off some folk just for marching. Unfortunately some people just love to criticise for the sake of it with no substance behind it. The majority of us who have been protesting are the lifeblood of the club. Not sure what i'm doing when I get to the ground. Either stay outside or protest in the LS.

Get in Lorne Street, no one will be there outside during the game to see/hear you anyway.

By all means, leave early before the scumbags depart...

Am season ticket holder in Bycars but LS seems to be the best part of the ground to protest. Is it straightforward to change your ticket? Gather it costs a couple of quid.

Good idea on leaving the coffin at Vale, Sage. Better keeping everyone happy and having more people there. Afterall were doing all of these things to get the board out and not to be a five minute hero on the telly.

Would it be a good idea to get a thread pinned, with the time we are meeting, where were meeting etc.... So people haven't got to search through threads to get the details.

my thoughts as well

wreathes or flowers would make a big visual impact the press and media, I am reliably informed has have been made aware of the demonstration.

Flowers and wreaths available from O'Kay flowers next door to KFC in Burslem. It's my mates mum's shop, local lady and my mates a Vale fan.

Would they deliver sometime during the build-up to the match? Perhaps whilst our directors are "entertaining" their guests.;)

Give them a bell tomorrow - 01782 816006 or call in. Support the protest march and support your local high street!

do you really think any directors will be there on saturday?

Glenn will be because he is a true vale fan:yes:

Bratt maybe because he is a "jewel"

Mudie will be because he likes a free lunch:yes:

Meigh will be because he hasn't got a clue what is going on.

Lloyd will be because he thinks he is the chairman elect:yes:

Jackson, well he's just the puppet master and can pull the strings from afar:yes:

They may not last the 90, but I think they will make some sort of appearance at some point.

Hats off to yer OS:yes:......surely there must be a trombone player out there who can play the Last Post outside of the main entrance to give the demo the coup de gras?

It would take a very good musician to play the last post on a trombone. It's usually played on a trumpet.

I should just like to inform interested parties the the Police have been informed of Saturday's peaceful protest march which will start from the Bulls Head in Burslem at 2.30pm.

I would reiterate the need for this to be a peaceful demonstrate march as the aim is media coverage but not for any violence. Remember we must keep the moral high ground on this one and any fighting would defeat our objective as we want people to join us and not alienate ourselves in any way.

The coffin will not now be carried through Burslem but will be outside the main entrance at the end of the march. This is an attempt not to offend anyone.

Supporters are requested to bring their old Season Ticket wallets & vouchers and wreathes or flowers would make a big visual impact the press and media, I am reliably informed has have been made aware of the demonstration.

Lets show the doubters that we dont need violence to make our point on this one. LETS JUST SHOW THAT V2001 MUST GO

dunner tell the sentinel ,it will be a wasted phone call .

Caroline I've been told by a good source that none of them are attending 'following police advice'===
