Not sure snickers is the best option, I had never worried about nut alergies until I took my daughter and a mate to see Muse. Her mate explained to me what to do if they come into contact with nuts (insert your own joke), which is to basically stab them in the leg with an epipen (I think that's what its called) and hope for the best.

If you know you've got a nut allergy, then you won't eat a Snickers.

True, but they said that they had a bad case where their dad had eaten nuts earlier in the day, and he kissed them goodnight and it caused a flare up. Don't get me wrong I don't think its going to cause an epidemic, but it has made me think twice before having anything nut based around when kids are in the house.

 

You're assuming that the kids are responsible enough to know what's in a snickers. They may not all be with a responsible adult.

No need to be so extreme. It was just an observation. I think its a great idea to give chocolate out to the kids, after learning what I have about nut alergies, I wouldn't choose to give chocolate with nuts in it to kids that I don't know that's all.
