Remember football is a team game. I am sure Micky works with the squad as a team not a bunch of individuals. This season was going brilliantly with JMW/Duffy and Loft/Vincent then injuries hit. Suddenly new partnerships with no time to gel. Similarly Pope/ Dodds was working Pope/Williamson have had no time to work. To me Dodds plays the hole better than anyone because he understands the midfield role and can finish. Williamson is an out and out striker, I am sure it will be Pope/Dodds on Sat. I am also sure Gills etc will suffer the same dip when injuries/suspensions take hold, keep the faith and roll on the new dawn.

I'd agree that loss of confidence could be the worst consequence of the Northampton game. This makes it doubly important that we don't take FG lightly and do turn up next Saturday with a strong side. A defeat there really would sap the confidence. I have a feeling Dodds didn't play because he's carrying a knock. There was no reason to drop him, and the fact that he wasn't used as a sub - probably Adams decided it was something of a lost cause so rested him the entire game.
