He was right about Ryder, weeks before he bailed. He also said Oliver was interested ages ago and was then on PVO bragging about having a pint with him after the Gillingham game... Why would Oliver Ashley be at a League Two game when he could go to ANY game on the planet??

 

Could be something in this.

 

Hopefully.

 

Where has been the proof that Ashley has ever been to a Vale game?? Has this rumour only ever come off this Clive and it all just snow balled.

well clive does know a lot,you must admit he does talk a good script but i can't imagine **** of **** hall quaffing pints with a mere supporter,it doesn't ring true.

What if oliver hasnt put a bid in,and it goes to another bloke?

What will the reaction be? as some on here are expecting mike ashley to get involved...and bank roll us from.his wealth.when fact is FA rules wont allow mike ashley to control,own shares,spend money on two sides inside same FA.

So point is,would people be less supportive of other people?

I will just be glad we are bought.

 

to be honest i'm taking this rumour with a pinch of salt, it's quite good the banter it is causing, if it does transpire that the ashley family or someone of their ilk are the bidders i'm sure they will be wholey welcomed

 

but i'm expecting bob to say i am happy to introduce joe bloggs and for us all say who????? when the bidder is finally announced
