That seem to have escaped comment, Grew speaks

Not in my opinion, Mark.

Nice one, let's patronize and wind up the opposition again. Personally I wish Mark Grew would keep schtum. What was it Windy said, only the manager and CEO should speak for the club? I agree with him on this.

So Grew has opened his mouth again as he. Me thinks Di Canio will put the article up in his dressing room on Saturday then let his team do the talking so he can ram it down Grew's throat to go along with the "no one scares us and lose the next game 4-0 at home" comment.

What did Grew say that was so wrong?

"Di Canio has to come to terms with managing in this league because not every team he comes up against will play football," said Grew.

"He's got to learn to adapt his players to different situations and countering the threat of teams who make life difficult and are physical.

"We can play both ways, which is important because there are times when you can't string together 30 passes."

Not a pop exactly, but as I originally said, patronizing. He's not as good as the great Grew and Adams in summary.

It's all a matter of a opinion. Personally I think comparing Adams with JR and taking a pop at Di Canio is very silly and counterproductive.

Yes but he was saying that if Adams stays with us as long as Rudgie did then, with his record so far, why can't he be as successful?

Adams has probably been the best thing to happen to Vale since the Great man left so why can't that continue for many years to come?

Fair enough, Adams has achieved nothing with us so far, unlike the great man. If he can take us to several seasons in the championship, fair does to him. I'd be chuffed. Won't happen though imo because he's not as good a manager as Rudge. Want to place a bet on this? 1000 quid says Adams will be gone in two years from the end of this season with us in the same league.
