Brown or Smurthwaite

I think that both should stay! It's smurfs **** up for the stupid decisions that he made at the start of the season. He should stay and put it right now. As for brown, he was always fighting with one hand tied behind his back (we all know about the lack of funds, large crap squad and no goal scorers) and I'm convinced that he genuinely tried to make the best that he could with next to nothing. Looking at the kind of player that he did bring in, I'm sure that another goal scorer would have seen us safe. So for me, whilst they are both to blame (though less so than a completely incapable Bruno) for different reasons, I think they they both should have the chance to repair the **** that they have got us into.

Both should go and give us a fresh start.Smurthwaite is a clown and had chance to support Michael. Brown when Bruno left. His decision to pocket the 350k in January rather than strengthen the team showed that he had no interest in trying to keep Vale up.

His supposedly plan B(ollocks) never materialised.

Brown also had plenty of time to turn things round but by alienating the foreign players and not bringing in a much needed striker failed to stop the rot.

 

Do you really think that playing ANY of the foreign players that Brown sidelined would have kept up up? From what I have seen, Tavares for example, looked completely out of his depth and clueless. Kiko can't play more than 2 games on the bounce, de Freitas wasn't fit and as for the others, you could take the component parts, add them together and still only have a conference player.
