Collins is cack at center-half, the sooner Owen is back the better.

Also, Griffith/Roberts as a pair in the middle of the park just isn't ideal. Loft should be the first choice in that position.

Pope should be an option on the bench in my opinion.

Agree with both of those statements to be honest.

The first goal today was conceded because no one could get rid of the ball , Owen probably would have dealt with it. The second was poor marking, just a free header in the area from a pretty standard cross (perhaps more should have been done to cut it out though). There's work to do defensively though. I'd be happier with Collins at left back.

Vale were a lot better when Roberts went off today. Loft was my MOTM, he was very good and needs to stay in the team. One of Griff and Roberts needs to be dropped as if both play then the balance of the team is very poor and it causes all sorts of problems.

Yates

McCombe

Owen/McDonald

Collins

Dodds

Griff

Loft

Burge

Rigg/Pope

Richards

Rigg was the only player who could play against McFaedzen today, Pope and Rico were clueless (And thats taking nothing away from Rico's free kick which was a touch of class, nice one Micky).

Rigg is a better player than many seem to give him credit for. He works hard, has some pace and can finish when he gets in the right positions, and of course he can play out wide or up top.
