If the idiots on the board had of accepted Mos offer of investment imagine just how exciting the first game might be.

Micky would be able to assemble a squad to be proud of (proved he has a wealth of contacts whilst at Sheff Utd unfortunate to inherit a butch of **** palyers).

this would of been a mouthwatering clash after a rivalry of battling each other for the top players around all summer.

with bragging rights to the winner setting up a promotion campaign and a season long battle,

what a shame that we will have half a squad. the only promotion PVFC will have this year is the bad publicity from the three amigos and Mr deakin.

a season at the bottom end i think, wont be long before the better players want to leave, i can see rico looking for a way out along with a few others, none of them are kids they will want ot squeeze the most out of there careers not stay in turmoil, Vale till i die should become vale till they die

Got to agree if Mo Chaudry had got in last January then the first game back in League 1 would have been very exciting and with a string of good signings

to add to the three or four quality players the club would have added last January the squad could have become competitive in League 1....instead it will be mid-table fourth division fodder...unless they get off to a bad start and then with the form in the second half of the season and Adams frailty in a relegation battle....just think this squad even bottled it when they went top and the manager is no good in a relegation battle....but they should be safely mid-table.

Could have been League 1 football with a competitive playing budget and a tilt at those far off windmills of Championship football instead the majority of fans are lost and there is little interest in a season already written off..

i think micky adams is amazing when at the playoff/automatic area of the table but awefull when at the wrong end, says the wrong things to the press a lot aswell which can undermine the players but........... dare i say there are worse teams but none have a worse non footballing situation, the players wont be able to relax this summer at all

I'll probably have half a dozen Oxford supporters saying over for the last match of the season. I hope that we have kicked this board out by then so that I can go to the match.

Although I expect Oxford to be playing for promotion or at least the playoffs and Vale trying to safe themselves from relegation.

It was bad enough last season beaten 2:1 home and away - took some stick - more to come I fear.
