No increase in ticket prices on match days

It's all well and good proposing reductions in prices but it's only sensible if there is a corresponding increase in attendance to more than offset the reduction.

Norman has done many price incentives since taking over and I challenge anyone to show me the statistical proof that the club has benefited financially from any single one of those incentives.

The way to get more pax through the turnstiles is down to winning matches. Yet having won two home games on the trot I would suggest that no one came through the gate pay on the day.

So what is the cause? I would suggest that it's down to the general walking out on his troops.

I suspect Micky still had the support of the vast majority of fans whoring post on here, and there was still the belief amongst them that as long as he was still at the club we had a chance of still progressing.

Unless there is an absolute mind blower of an appointment I suspect many many fans have now lost the faith.

I suspect its because the football is cack, the atmosphere is cack, the experience is cack, the tactics are cack, the results are cack, the prices are cack, the performances are cack, its the same old same old cack

or a combination of the above.

Winning two home games on the trot isnt an attractant... winning 10 games on the trot may be, or not losing for 15 games perhaps, showing the supporters that the team want it as much as the fans do would help

Let's be honest if the success we've had in the last 2 seasons can't improve attendances significantly then hanging around the relegation zone won't!

Did we have success in the last part of last season?

The season before [promotion season] the crowds increased and people thought it would continue as if the norm [no pun intended], that isnt the norm thats simply the increase, sadly the latter part of that season wasnt good.

We need consistency on the pitch to attract and keep supporters, we need improvements and consistency off the pitch to help attract those supporters too... and I dont mean consistently poor or consistently picking the same players and tactics.

Being inconsistent means that the supporters never know if its going to be a good day or a bladdy awful day when they turn up and is one more disincentive they dont need.

Being at the base of the league doesnt have to be all bad, its never good but you can turn it into an advantage if you try bladdy hard to do all you can to get away from the bottom and, more importantly, convince the supporters you are trying your best.

Give the supporters value for money and they will pay 23/24/25/26 quid a game, give them dross and they wont pay 10.
