Six games left fella . Good post though . Was full of optimism myself after BR that was the most committed every player home performance for for me many a year . I think we have had players who have carried us these past 2 seasons ,but ultimately as of 7.08 thurs the 4th of April 2024 we are in the relegation area so ultimately as of today they haven't being good enough . The Northampton display made no sense to me . When 1 -0 down second half did we throw the kitchen sink at the opposition We're we brave Was losing not a option because if it wasn't a option then why apart from the Uche chance did we create diddly squat . Was it because the players once fell behind in the game , they mentally caved in because it hasn't just being happening this season it's being happening for many a season even when got promoted we wobbled ridiculously in home defeats, v Newport and Bristol Rovers and away at Walsall )ok different players mostly but same weak Vale mentality). Yet our away followers keep turning up 1500 odd already going Wigan maybe it be 1800 to 2000 by sat , 2500 be going Bolton I mean 736 racked up at Northampton expecting see another BR, performance the 2 goals scored by the cobblers you would have to question the desire and recovery running of the right sided player Sang twice, and surely Debrah should have just stepped across to deal with Pinnock the fact he ran through and scored was absolutely pathetic in terms of defensive structure . So the sands of time are running out on the Vale . Will always love them but we need players who can consistently reach the levels of the BR game . Too many times our players come off with no better than a 4 as a mark by there names It's pathetic. Bare minimum we need from all starting 11 is 6s all round . Can they be trusted put the level of performances in required I'd say No and I'm generally where Vales concerned the most positive of followers . Really hurt by overall how poor its being They have made a lot of Saturdays and most Tuesdays a very subdued after match bounce,no bounce most of time ,in fact until the BR game they had killed my love for them completely . Think last home game I went was Oxford and I'm a season ticket holder . I don't take too kindly too watching rubbish . Let's hope that in future seasons it becomes a very good watch and the players who generally since 1st Jan 2023 find other clubs to bring there clubs fans to there knees .

Bolton away banged 5 in v Reading who beat us 2-0 Last away game of season and probably one if not the hardest. Cambridge at home last game generally Vale are absolutely woeful last home game for many seasons Yesterday's giveaway changes everything really needed win that, o to lose it I feel has generally stuck one of the last lives we had in us . I sense the worst now yesterday was overall extremely damaging Folk saying we were going for equaliser but you don't concede another when your goal difference is -25 . Dreadful -26 I never wanted see league 2 again . Be really annoyed if we end up back there . What percentage of chance do we have . Gutted for owners if do go down It's being bar the odd high a shocker of a season . Why do Vale fans get punished after just a couple of happy years continually . They deserve better

Friday buzzing felt we were building up a head of steam Monday livid what happened if players were tired use the hungry young ones . I don't get it you build the confidence up then it's gone again . Fri across the board 7s . What were peoples marks yesterday . A very damaging defeat really as I thought the win on Friday would have given the players the confidence to defeat Northampton. Do you think they celebrated the Bristol win too much . Maybe that's what happened . We just make things bad when folk were getting themselves back up off the floor so to speak. I thought the great escape was on now it all feels like a balloon what's gone pop . We need in future keep Chislett ON I'd personally never take him off cause he's very capable of doing something and Plant was man of the match Fri so why was he substituted . I'd take us needing a win v Cambridge stay up . Wigan and Bolton away ends be loads of Vale at both them there's hope I've seen Vale beat Wigan 4-0 at Springfield Park years ago in fact so many think there away end was a mudbath, and Bolton we beat then 6 -2 when we were having a terrible season under Askey . Peterborough there very good so we need pass the ball so someone can slot the ball in in future you only take a shot on if know you are going score in a situation where pass is ON you pass it and get that all important goal too make bad decisions all game is criminal Always the sign of a team in trouble when every flaming decision the team makes on the day is the wrong one . I believe Vale should have scored twice minimum for them too off 3 on target attempts 2 goals sums us up .

Tired what about the poor buggers who have watched every game this season ,paid there money travelled and watched 21 defeats out of 40 . I'm.not angry I'm just flabbergasted how they can give hope then take it away because there tired ought go do manual work for 40 hrs a week since age of 16 then they be tired not kicking a ball around . Seems like we a ok team if do not concede first Fancy giving them a goal from our breakaway ain't seen it heard it was horrendous. Burton Cheltenham and us 2 out of 3 too go looks like Fleetwood and Carlisle are gone . Don't understand the change in application today . Were they tired from Fri . Can only go on stats has haven't seen game They only 3 on target and scored twice Vale have had 4 on target 8 off . Not great though but results elsewhere mean they still have a small chance . Poor result though as there a very average team at best

If my memory serves me right last time I went Northampton you can buy tickets from a booth just outside away end . We lost I think John Mccombe got sent off or he broke someone's leg anyway on first visit to six fields Richard's and Rigg scored and qe won 2-0 about 250 of us there Enjoy we ain't conceded a away goal in 180 minutes and let's face it we seem like a different team in last 2 . If Lincoln who as ordinary as ordinary can string together the run they have then Vale who are overall a much better side than them CAN (in my opinion). I know the league table says different but if we stay up we will be above them next season along with many others. As long as same kind of commitment shown as Fri and as long as CR as as much do as Fri then Vale got goals in them . Icavetti could well head one in . Ojo could thunder one in . Loft being smacking some fantastic shots just wide they are going go in eventually . Uche well what can you say he just can take a whole defence out I'm seeing at least 4 goals for him in remaining games assists 5 . Sangs going put one straight on someone's head he is becoming a very key player Plant well he certainly is a very at it player I'd like see him.score a important goal Dipepa well he be on cloud 9 well aim for cloud 10 goals galore but more importantly for me in games I've seen from him doesn't give defenders a moments peace Missed the best of the lot B Garrity he pops up scores vital goals all round game tremendous. Over 46 games get what you deserve so if one of 4 it's deserved We have 7 x90 plus extra time to make sure that's not the case . Before Fridays excellent performance I was thinking we maybe hanging around bottom of league 2, next season around this time but after Fri I'm thinking Darren Moore can get us winning most of remaining games and next season we maybe be championship ready such was the excellence of the display especially the fantastic change in mentality since Oxford no show . So for me lots look forwards poorly at present but Vales certainly a much better watch now than for many a season . Fridays all round commitment best since seen since under M Adams and Horton and the great man himself Rudge. Moore of that and we staying up as someone else will get dragged in for sure .

I like him hope he can keep scoring big goals for Vale before moving to Man Utd Stoke I was reading on twitter the other day why would he go there they get rid of all there promising youngsters but allegedly one poster says Carol owes there owners 7 million so BD would cover that. Judging on overall performance yesterday where every player was tackling and working there proverbials off you have to ask why has it took till 37 games and 2nd bottom for these kind of performances come out . It may be too late now but I'm thinking we can probably win all remaining games if yesterday's first half especially is maintained every half for last 14 half's of season. There were 7s all across the board yesterday The difference yesterday from especially some of home performances was light and day . If ever a club was performing within itself Vale has been doing Must have won more balls yesterday than last 15 games Least ending season with pride if nowt else

Exciting it is No reason why Vale cannot gather momentum. The difference in yesyerday home performance and the one v Oxford was like a different team had stepped on the pitch . We probably put more tackles in yesterday's than majority of games I've seen at home . It was great to see Chislett putting tackle after tackle in also Sang There's definitely been a mentality shift. Every player including subs looks bang up for the fight . I'm impressed I like the fact Uches had some minutes . Must concentrate on own performances yesterday's performance was summed up by how little Connor Ripley had to do 7 more games like that and who knows Should imagine the Northampton game will sell well after yesterday . Certainly should go with more of the same what producing v Burton and BR . Lots of twists and turns left

A good 3 points think we took foot off pedal after the Loft chance but overall great team performance Defence were superb . Bit wasteful with ball at times but deserved 3 points don't just boot it anywhere play your football B Dipepa great goal nearly had another with overhead kick. Lofty deserved a goal . Player of the match Debrah won everything as did Smith Well played lads

Just a question wife wants come along tomoz if ON ,I'm.a season ticket holder does that automatically knock the 4 pounds off or do you have to have membership too . Last season had membership and season ticket as paying for lads but this year got his own well i paid for it so not entirely true however haven't got a membership this season as haven't needed one etc.

Man Utd allegedly don't want him be involved in a relegation battle . That's what I've heard might be nonsense . Only time will tell if it is though . Just because play decent away shouldn't mean you guaranteed in the home team as difference between Leyton Orient game and Oxford quite clearly showed . So I'd expect changes.

OK I'm.going to give my views on the relegation candidates . Carlisle overall step up being too difficult for them shame really as they have good players Relegated Burton I think they will drop into bottom 4 Relegated struggle score and on a downward spiral . Cambridge Utd Very big side struggling greatly Vale should have been out of sight v them till bought 3 subs on . Possible with us to go down could come down to us or them . Fleetwood C A has improved them greatly ,score goals have a midfielder who dominated Vale twice Laval . I think they will stay up . Cheltenham struggling lately think they will be relegated we should have been 3 -0 up at theres before sitting back and losing game dreadfully . Charlton I think agent Nathan Jones has got them winning regularly and they be OK. Reading be fine they win games . As for Vale well there very capable but ultimately they have left themselves a mountain as high as mount everest climb . The glimmer I see is the support and the return of the Uche and the most magnificent of all the things to happen the emergence of Baylee Dipepa, and the confidence RLoft and big balls he as shown doing and playing how he did sat in front of our magnificent away followers and scoring that goal that brings us renewed hope. Need to have a clear mentality of what's required. Season starts at home Fri. I'm sure there's a lot of folk who are because of what been subjected to mainly in home games since Jan 23, who are like myself at present not sure if a season ticket is worthwhile having . The Players have 4 X 90 to convince me part with my hard earned coin as walking me daughters dog is free,and enjoyable , and going a national Trust only about 180 quid a year and there's many you can go and have a active happy day with no stress and lots to do to keep ones soul happy . So like I say you can buy the shirts you can go the games but you got to get some enjoyment out of doing so . Years ago a few pre match pints didn't really bother me losing as long as saw they were going at it not giving in, playing to win all game ,I haven't seen that this season and quite frankly overall we will do well stay in league thats not negative that's truth . Watching sober is something else its so poor lad at work said it was such a rubbish game v Burton said Vale deserved win but it was such a horrible game . 8 more of those comments sat Tues(Fri and Mon) ill take . I may be way off the mark but seemed to me on all highlights I've watched is that the dismissal /resignation of flitcroft who I liked to be honest ,gave the players (all im hearing )that new lease of energy commitment there were 3 players trying get ball of that Burton player for winning goal ,was it Massey who won it anyway loft and Chislett ran like the wind it was a fantastic finish and as Will Ferrrel said on the best video I saw of the goal oh my g-d it's Beautiful. Dipepa has scored 3 in 2 Uche who to me is a fine player yes a bit cumbersome when the ball sticks to him it sticks and he surely going slam some noteworthy goals in . Home form been a disgrace for a long time though Good Fri be a good time start a winning sequence going ,at home as that's what sells season tickets not away performances which bar Fleetwood Derby have been ok and generally good at times . Homes being garbage no other way dress it up people don't pay for a away season ticket as me Stoke loving colleagues would love if they did as they all have a great time away at home there a shambles also . I cannot remember slagging him off have you got me mixed up with someone else Every match I attend I encourage every player . In all years of watching Vale never followed players on Instagram never made a comment on there performances to there family or friends as that doesn't achieve anything . A comment on a forum means nowt it's just a place to discuss your clubs plight ,players what you have witnessed performances and praise or disdain for what they have produced. So I'd wind your neck in if I was you fella .

I see Stoke charging there fans 10 pounds on Easter Monday v Huddersfield and only paying 10 pounds get in Hull (2300 allocation sold out ). How about make it 10 pounds for Vale and Bristol fans as they travel well generally . Big game generally interested see there fans reaction to Loft . Hope he bangs another in 1 2 or 3 over Easter I will be there to encourage him to do so .
