To be honest I don't really mention Smith any more it's obvious he will only play for one club and if folk enjoy his overall efforts,crack on I personally have better things do than watch him moving forwards. I'll be honest I liked Uche . Our best performances of the season he starred in them . Mansfield away cup the sold out away end applauded his all over game off . Charlton at home created the space for others shine we scored 3 should have scored 7 . Blackpool at home scored 3 once again his contribution excellent . We created diddly squat for our forwards as had too many what i d call plodders in the team and by time ball put in box opposition had time get everyone back . So overall there was little to nothing crow about last season just the 1 signing of Curtis might improve the goal out put of Loft it might not you still have to pass it with speed and authority we did neither last season and still have loads on the books of plodders who couldn't excite a wet fart never mind a fanbase . Yes his fitness seems a problem . He as allegedly gone now so subject closed . There's far worse players still at the club. Just because your fit enough play weekly doesn't mean you are good enough get a shirt weekly and if do bare minimum it's no wonder always picked as some one is particular is . Let's hope if he as departed many others are going also . Need a new team . All the best to Uche even at 70 per cent fit in some excellent games better than those who are contracted to the club and offer little short of nothing . I think if we keep Uche and add the quality by his side required we need to bring in , he Uche be banging them in gamely plus bringing his A game to the games the bit around Xmas shows what he us all about you cannot convince me he is isn't good enough cause those games prove he is v Blackpool unstoppable ,v Barnsley second half tremendous v Charlton a great watch . Then he got injured v Portsmouth and come back too soon but I think he would do a smashing job for us if fully fit If moves on so be it though depends if his wages can we get better for what he is ON if Moore thinks not I'd be doing everything I can keep him .

The problem over the years is we haven't stuck to the process . Bad performances were jumped on and then it escalated but sometimes you just got stick with it and it turns eventually . It didn't last year we seemed to accept relegation but I'm.sure if Crosby wasn't binned we would have stayed up as he at least had them playing relatively well at times .

So league 2 team is starting take shape. Regular starters for me . Ripley Chislett Garrity Curtis Dipepa Uche (if staying least entertaining when fully fit) Icavetti should be solid enough in league 2 if paired by a pacy leader defender . Debrah is ok but i think needs work . Smith can play if up against big target men anyone with speed of thought no not for me . Sang could do quite well in league 2 but mustnt be anywhere near the defence third. Ojo should be good enough but if attitude is anything go by ,better to move on So we got a five a side team up to yet the rest well they can play when there up against certain teams but I'd still like 6 more new starters in our team Subs bench is huge upto yet

Maybe his standard is league 2 . Just because you ok player in league 2 doesn't mean you good enough for league 1 as proven by players who cannot step up . The players we should go for are those who want to achieve not run of the mill I'll pick me money up players but not really want do much just bare minimum. That's how we played last season . The Bare minimum club at best Let's get some I'm going give 110 per cent and more gamely then league 2 should be OK.

I wouldn't buy players based on how they play against us . Look at Loft for Scunthorpe and Bristol Rovers found the net four times I believe v us we sign him he scores 2 I deflected V Stevenage. We have a habit of making players look better than they are . Be interesting see who he does buy . I'd go for thst Orsi holds the ball up scores and looks a good league 2 player ,Liam Kelly aswell on today's show v the Alex . Maybe they will get chance play in league 1 on Crewes showing today I would only take the number 5 no one else . I'd take Raggett from Portsmouth . Build from back we conceded most games like a sieve , last season and season former especially after jan ,it doesn't really matter what league you in you will lose plenty of games if back isn't I'd say 50 per cent better than last season that's the area what needs strengthening the most .

Just listened to Crawleys manager . He said he recruited players who play for the love of the game . Had to change the mentality of just turning up for wages . So recruitment was spot on Liam Kelly failure at Rochdale allegedly success at Crawley Orsi not wanted by Grimsby scored 25 goals I think I've read and big ones in semis and final That's what sells not players who just see it as a wage after all there doing something they love for money they ain't grafting for 160 hrs in a month doing 14 to 20 thousand steps a night loading wagons picking socks and Wellington boots and filling slots up with heavier than they should be boxes . Ain't a forum a place to express yourself whether it makes a difference or not. You go all the games so your input should be top of list . Us who go majority home and few away just come on here and put our views across ,we now they won't make a difference but make our points anyway . Must admit I like the idea of a 12 month rolling Direct Debit scheme. It would make sense it's money coming too Vale all year round, I only know of Stoke doing it because a lad who used go watch Vale and Stoke who just watches Stoke now mentioned it as they have kept there prices same for many a year . OK let's have a list the fors and the againsts of having a season ticket. The FORS 1 saves you money works out 14.56 a game 2 you get to watch PVFC 23 times. 3 You can use the remaining 8.44 to spend on a few beers at fanzone which is great if you budgeted say 23 quid a game which it would cost on day if haven't got membership. 4 getting one helps to hopefully bring in quality of players required to bring a winning home mentality to the club . Against I it's a big outlay at once for most folk in s.o.t and surrounding areas,I see neighbours have a 12 month rolling direct debit thing going on why Vale haven't that I've no idea . 2 17 contracted players who were not up to standard last season what makes you think they can magically become better. 3 Tues night games we ain't won in two years in league at home Fors outweigh the againsts however than depends on who's brought in .
