Good scrap between Charlo and castro last night. Close fight till Charlo stopped him. I saw the highlights to the Kovalev fight against Pulev young brother. Not a bad scrap. Interesting to see how Kovalev does at cruiserweight The other Pulev fight was awful. Should have been stopped earlier on in my opinion. Wasn't a bad night on channel 5 for boxing either. Gutted for Josh Kelly , opponent pulled out of the last minute due to a fine Should be a decent fight next week between Buatsi and Richards. Buatsi toughest test in my opinion

So Brook and now Khan both retired. Fair play to both fighters, fought the best and never backed down from a big fight ( other then fighting each other till this year) Froch, Degale , Groves, Brook and Khan. End of an era really I still refuse to believe Fury is done. They'll hype his return and throw loads of promotional videos/hype when he makes the "comeback" against Usyk or Joshua

I've only seen Floyd Mayweather Jr is fighting in an exhibition this Saturday in Dubai against a boxer called Don Moore. A 40 something fighter with 16 wins, although his debut was in 1999 ! It's also on livetv ppv which I've never heard off. Surely Mayweather doesn't need the money by now ? Especially after that embrassing logan Paul fight.

Big win for Bivol last night against Canelo. Can't believe the judges gave Canelo 4 rounds ! Thought we almost had another dodgy Vegas judges on the go for a second. Fair play to Canelo he takes on anyone and has beaten the best but everyone underestimated Bivol who put a masters class performance on and boxed Canelo head off

If anyone can do it , Loma can I reckon. Although there's talk he will fight the winner of Haney-Kambosos which will be a cracker. Canelo-Bivol next weekend. Should be a decent scrap, with the potential of the much needed GGG sequel. Can Golovkin do it at this point in his career ? Interesting enough , Hearn wanted to set up Canelo-Andrade. Agree with all that. Taylor-Serrano was an excellent fight. Made history and put women's boxing on top for the world to see. Well done to both especially Katie who no doubt has made a legacy for herself Big fan of Stevenson style. Would love see him take on Loma next

Two cracking fights over the States this weekend with Oscar Valdez taking on Floyd Mayweather protégé Shakur Stevenson. Both unbeaten and exciting to watch should be a banger. Also got the Katie Taylor-Serrano fight at Madison Square Garden. With Liam Smith on the undercard. Interesting fight but I can't stand that Jake Paul though

Benn is the most exciting fighter in Britain in my opinion. Needs a big step up in America next Looking forward to the Crawford-spence Jr fight that needs to happen this year

Caught the Linares highlights today. Sad to see him fighting in some dingy Russian night club. Big fan of linares and his attitude. He would fight anyone and in any country. His fight with loma was a cracker

I Wonder if Brook takes the Eubank fight ? Junior certainly had a lot to say about it like usual. Definitely a bigger challenge for Eubank compared to his fights against Willams and Degale Khan is done now. Been done for years to be honest. Fair play to both though. Had some big fights over the years against the canelo , GGG , Crawford , Erroll Spence and Garcia. Perhaps a fitting end to both fighters career if it was to end

Interesting one tonight between Khan-Brook. For me this fight should have happened 5-6 years ago but here we are I'd love to see Brook take it but for me Khan wins this. Besides the main event, not much going on the undercard again. Dreadfully especially as it's box office. I miss the days where it was bbc/itv that had boxing

Eubank Jr will never hit his father level. His past fight against the elite like Groves and BJS shows that. He got absolutely destroyed in both fights. Claiming to be the best beating an aging Degale and a British level standard Willams doesn't make you the best. GGG, Andrade and the Charlo Brothers are way to skilled for Eubank Jr and his jaw wouldn't last. It wasn't long ago he was fighting for the IBO belt on channel 5 but since Sky sports lost matchroom they need poster boys for the channel. Sadly that's the standard of Sky sports Boxing now,

Boxing off this month in the UK due to covid and the need for extra paramedics. Surely football would be the same ? I've not seen the Martin-Ortiz fight yet but apparently the ref should have stopped it earlier ? I was amazed to read Martin knocked down Ortiz twice

Fight of the year? Fury-Wilder will go down for many and rightfully so. Personally Josh Taylor-Ramirez was my favourite. Fighter of the year has to go to Canelo. Not his biggest fan due his antics/dodgy dealings but he's definitely smashed some records this year. Crawford also had a fantastic year. Crawford-Erroll Spence Jr has to happen eventually

Dominating performance by Benn tonight with a lovely 1-2 for the KO. Now 20-0 and needs to step up with a big fight in America possibly ? Love watching Benn fight. Moves and fights just like his old man

Canelo deserves all the praise. However the GGG result /drug test I can't get past but the man definitely deserves respect. Apparently his next fight is due in England in early March. Only fighter I can think of is John Ryder maybe ? He's beaten the best of what the UK can offer at this point.
