Darren Moore Masterclass 😊
Yet when asked about this problem in interviews, his only answer appears to be that it's "lack of concentration"

29th Dec, 3-0 Blackpool at home
We haven't won for over two and half months and have only picked up 3 wins in 6 months. Today is literally the 6 months ticking over. 182 days.
Beg your pardon!

Corner, goal conceded. Corner, goal conceded. Corner, goal conceded, repeat, repeat, repeat!!!

Shouldn't that say "amazed when we win"? So long since I saw us win I have forgotten what it feels like...
December 16th 3-2 v Wigan methinks.

im not buying into this " oh look weve turned a corner ". im firmly in the Flitcroft out camp. First team is a mess and has been for 18 months. Not even staying up now will convince me otherwise.
No corner turned as there was still so little firepower. But at least a clean sheet and one point--thankful for small mercies!

Sadly, I suspect that you're spot-on with your comments.

Must be some happy pills in those oatcakes! Hope you're correct with the score prediction, however I think it may be a tad optimistic. Whatever the outcome, enjoy the match, atmosphere and, of course, those lovely oatcakes--I'm salivating just looking at the photo! 😜

For me the manager should have the final say , he coaches and trains the players , A Dof should only be needed for scouting and contract negotiations 👍
I agree totally.

Instead of hiding behind corporate spiel, why don' t the club out with a quote that simple folk like me can understand:
"Darren Moore will be in charge of his own recruitment of player's for the 2024/25 season"
Because I don't think it's going to be in any way as clear cut as that. Sadly, I don't think Carol will be getting rid of DF. The change, if it does take place (and I may well be wrong), will be much more subtle and nuanced than that. My best guess is that to save face, DF will still "be in charge" but with a much bigger input into player recruitment from DM. Only time will tell. Regrettably, as we all know, most of the damage has already been done and I fear this season is one we're all going to want to forget!

I'd like to believe your interpretation is correct but we may be clutching at straws there. It also could mean that Flitcroft's still callling all the shots and that Moore has simply agreed to knuckle under. Let's see.
Or, it could mean that the owner has taken note and we are seeing a subtle change in the playing set-up. I'm pinning my hopes on it!

Flitcroft has already done major damage regardless of what the club might do to try and rectify that. To keep him in his role is, in my humble opinion, unjustifiable.
Of course, I do agree about the damage that he has done. I'm just hoping that the comment about DM & coaching team being more involved, is indeed a tacit agreement from the owner that recruitment policy and responsibility may be changing to an extent. Fingers crossed!

It's either pig headedness or sheer delusional that she still believes in and backs Flitcroft as she does. And that won't change anytime soon.
Anyone who thinks we're actually capable of still getting out of this mess and winning enough games to stay up is also delusional. We're back in League Two to stay because of Carol's woeful decision making over the last X period of time.
I never suggested that relegation isn't the more likely outcome. But if you read the statement closely, there does appear to be an acceptance that DM + team will be more involved in player recruitment issues. If I'm correct in this, it does suggest pragmatism and not pigheadedness.

Is it just me or has the dynamic changed behind the scenes?
"Darren Moore and his team will work closely with David Flitcroft". Not the other way round. Do I detect a behind the scenes coup?
I picked up on that comment too and hopefully will take a little comfort from it if we are correct in our assumption that DM and his coaching team are going to have a greater say in player recruitment!

Carol out.
Too pig headed to do the right thing and the circus will continue to get worse.
You appear not to believe the summary agreed by ALL sides involved in the discussions. On what basis are you asserting that Carol is "pigheaded"?
This meeting may well have been overdue, but my reading between the lines of the agreed statement is that it appeared to be a frank exchange of views and some progress was clearly made in bridging the gap between owners and fans.
Obviously, the proof will indeed be in the pudding, but why not give Carol another chance before climbing in with a personal smear based on your pre-judgement?

Obviously, with your ill informed rant about not knowing or understanding the world of technology and then you resulting to abuse, I would say that you are the biggest clown on here. Good work Coco
Clowns may understand technology, but you sure don't do iriony! What's abusive about admiring your clown header? You chose it--perhaps you should reflect on that? !

Abusing people now because you are a little bit slow. nice one!
You chose the clown icon! Just backing up your choice--clearly most appropriate, you should be proud.
