Good idea, avoids the hassle of charging the fans for it. Charge it as an expense before the gate money is split between the clubs etc.I saw that Exeter gave the travelling Boro fans a free cup of tea during the last round.

What will happen if we get a plum draw in the 3rd round of the FA Cup?

I don't understand what the club is thinking here.
At these prices I won't be attending the game Xmas week, I'm sure I won't be the only one.
I assume it is a joint decision with Middlesborough, semi finals maybe Prem prices?

Will the same happen to all the clubs' fans that cover their football teams games then???
I assume it is the amount of match content and the profile of the site that would be the problem. I have not seen any recent statement by a club or any of the football authorities.

Were Crosby or any of the players interviewed after the Burton match?

Yes, completely. Why should this 7 year old feel that he can break the law with impunity?
Hopefully, Suella Braverman's brave proposals to reintroduce public floggings and the workhouse (if not scuppered by the toke) will mean that the likes of Alf and his family will get the comeuppance they deserve.
I blame the parents, they should know the law relating to copyright on YouTube. Not fair to put the blame on the lad

Many weeks away, 8 or 10 games to play, possibly 2 FA cup wins, 3rd round to anticipate? It will build up.

I was under the impression that the flat concrete roof was the problem. A ceiling if you say that is the problem could be less of a problem and more easily fixed.I didn't say roof.

So you’re saying there are more clicks for a report on Leek CC than on a Vale match report? I very much doubt that.
Not saying that at all. How much does the Sentinel spend on Leek CC ? Presumably must be worth it.

Fair comment but from what can see there now appears to be zero Vale coverage in the “local” newspaper online, as in a total news black out. There’s no justification whatsoever for this when there is still local cricket and other sports being covered and nobody will convince me it’s a good thing from a Vale perspective for the scrotes down the road to have a complete monopoly. At a basic level the casual reader should at least be able to read a match report and the odd interview. If they want to put the “in depth” analysis behind a paywall then fine but as it stands you could look at the Sentinel online and not even know Vale exist.
Economics I suspect, as the Vale coverage decreased so have the clicks, becomes a downward spiral until the clicks disappear. Yield on articles becomes non existent.

20p per week delivered to my mobile, 4 times a week, fine by me.Think it’s crazy to pay for news that’s readily available on here or other sites much quicker personally.

I treat it as testing the market. The Sentinal don't consider the Vale as economic. Ideally something along your lines may be preferable, time will tell.Obviously, as an independent journalist, the club can’t help him out but could the supporters’ club or some other organisation help get him up and running then a paywall do the rest?

Lots of newspapers do it now, a daily news digest to your email or wherever. Quality journalism comes at a price usually behind a paywall or subscription. If people want to pay for it, what is the problem? It is usually far cheaper than buying a physical newspaper. It will either be economic or not.Just get the info elsewhere. Everything is available much quicker online. Makes no sense to me.

Possibly, but test the waters first for a year?I still think there must be a model where Mr B. Got the lot without the sh1tinel getting a massive cut and the reputational boost.

For someone that's not subscribed, what was different with what you read to comapared to anything on here, through official Port Vale channels and Radio Stoke?
Based on one read. A lengthy match report of the Bolton game by Badders similar to what I used to read in the Sentinel. Since I haven't bought a Sentinel this Century and no longer battle through their on line advertising £10 appears a reasonable fee for me. After a year, whether £40 is value for 50 odd games plus whatever else is included, can be decided.

The League Cup is not usually a budget factor after August never mind at Xmas. Problem of success, especially if we are still in 3 cups on Xmas day.
