Port Vale sign Zak Mills – their second new signing of the summmer
Port Vale sign Zak Mills: club confirm that they have made their second new signing of the summer by bringing in former Oldham full-back Zak Mills.
The 28 year-old has joined the club on a one year deal.
Mills is predominantly a right-back but can also play on the left as well as in midfield. He is expected to provide competition to James Gibbons for the right-back spot.
Mills began his career with non-league Histon, moved on to Boston then got his break to play in the Football League by signing for Grimsby.
He spent two years there before making a move to Morecambe where he won the supporters’ player of the year award for the 2018/19 season. He started 19 league games for Oldham last season after joining them on a one-year deal from Morecambe
