Don't boo Marc Richards

As we know, Marc Richards returns on Saturday. I gather he is fit and so is likely to start the game.

I think that most people will agree with me in saying that he was a cracking player for us. Scored bag loads of goals for us, always had time for the fans, and gave us some great moments over the years.

So I'm asking you, please nobody boo him on Saturday for leaving us. He had lots of offers from bigger clubs whilst at Vale and always stuck by us, especially when we were in admin and I'll always remember him for that. I genuinely think he loves the Vale and I've seen him at Vale park in the stands a couple of times this season. Yes he left, but at the stage of his career he is at, he had to move for the money on offer and I would of done the same with young children involved.

He deserves a polite reception at the start of the game not boo's. If we boo him, he will end of scoring and celebrating in front of us all whereas my guess is that if he has some respect off us, he will show us respect and not celebrate if he scores (I hope).

Not asking you to sing his name all game but please don't boo.

Welcome back to Vale Park Marc, hope we stuff you 5-0 though! :)

Spot on, I would hope for a very warm applause for him though we do have our idiots that will boo him of course.

Not sure why he should be treated any differently than any other returning player.

He wanted more cash. He left. He comes back.

Was it more cash or just some cash, as players were not being paid at the time, I would have left my company had they not been paying me. Can't fault him
