We certainly need somebody with pace and movement up front. Both Richards are too similar. Both play with their back to the goal and are quite static-more so Mark at the moment. A Tony Naylor/Steve McPhee type of player would give the midfield more options.

We have struggled to score and create goals all season so its important that during the summer we sign two more strikers to have morey competition for places up front. We also could do with a creative midfielder and someone who can score goals from midfield. Perhaps Luke rodgers tom pope the strikers and bencherif from macclesfied and maghoma from Burton would do the trick.

 

While this board are in charge I couldn't give 2 hoots.. They could sign Wayne Rooney and I will not be stepping foot In the place until they've all departed!!!!

He came here as a striker and when he partnered rico when craig davies was out they looked really good but doubt grew will give them a chance together!

One of the things I don't miss about Micky is his blatant disregard for blooding youngsters. One of the few things Gannon got right was to play Morsy and he has since come on leaps and bounds. League games are what these players need more than anything, they can only go so far in the reserves.

 

I think his decision to release Lawrie was a disgrace.

 

I wanted to keep Malbon, Luke Chapman and even Louis Briscoe as well.

 

If they were any good they'd have found success elsewhere.

The worrying thing is, a small non-league club like Crawley will be able to attract better players than the two biggest yet poorest clubs in the league, Vale and Bradford.

Sorry bud, but it simply will not happen. Free transfers and loan players is the way forward with the current board. It's been that way since they took over and I really cannot see it changing.

 

Add to that the sale of any saleable player they can between now and August and what will we have left.

The only two players I can remember us spending money on under this board are Luke Rodgers and Paul Edwards
