My son Stephen and I had close up views of this in lower Lorne Street. Our player pushes their player, which might have been ok if he touched the ball. But he didn't. Their player was obviously trying to shield and turn. Therefore getting pushed was likely to cause him to look clumsy. I have watched the telly highlights on this a few times now as well. 

But overall the point is we played a weakened team and even players out of position. For example Sang.  So ok, I get these players need game time and we won. But we were lucky and should not push our luck again v Mansfield. 

Clever from Crosby if you ask me, we've got 3 really tough games in the league coming up plus pizza cup games as well. We don't have a huge squad so why go full strength. You'd only be moaning if we played our strongest side, won 3-0 but picked up a few injuries to the likes of arblaster, wilson & garrity let's say. The team he put out got the result... cheer up mate 😅 Almost every team plays a weakened side in this competition. Enjoy what's going on at Vale because it's been a long time since we've been in such a good position in all aspects of the club.

Bit of praise for us defensively from balls coming in much more solid than we have being in past games .

We defended the area where we were weak v Burton a lot better and must continue to do so

It will take time but  these changes in infra structure are needed... ok a successful team will always attract more fans but its the core support we need to improve as with the best will in the word we will suffer bad times during Carols reign.
