After noticing ValeMadrid87's FIFA thread I thought I would take this opportunity to ask everyone who they managed in manager mode and what they thought of the "revamped" version this year.

ahh, give it a go mate. Its a lot more realistic this year, when I was managing palace the club was even subject to a take over bid. Also the new youth academy makes it a lot more easier to build a club up over time, like rudgie.

unlucky mate, I've tried the FIFA manager and football manager games in the past, even played LMA back in the day but I get too frustrated when I can't control players. I wish they would make a game with the depth of games such as LMA and FIFA manager but with the ability to control the players like in regular FIFA games.

i don't think the same about the manager games :) i love FM.

i think i'll give it a go, it was just so frustrating on the last one to gain any money, i just loaned alot of players in, i got to the prem in like 5 seasons then got sacked due to not getting top 6 in my 2nd season :/

crazy mate, you must've had the Vale board in charge!:) I know what you mean bout raising money in FIFA 11 though, you couldn't scout and all of the free agents had very low ratings (they didn't even grow after givin them loads of game time). It was impossible to build a team.
